To what......???? 'Get your hands up,' (or whatever the actual words were?) She would not have had time to be even cognisant of what he said....he shot, immediately he finished saying 'Get your hands up.' I see local Police Authorities are dumping on the Cop, and so they should.

Dean has not commented about the shooting and could not be reached by Heavy. The largest police union in Texas, CLEAT (Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas), said in a statement released after Dean was identified as the officer who shot Jefferson that it would be providing an attorney to Dean.

CLEAT said it, “will take the facts where they exist and do our duty to provide legal defense to our union members. There can never be any doubt by a law enforcement officer anywhere about our humble commitment to them, no matter the circumstances. The CLEAT Legal Division has responded to 87 officer-involved shootings so far in 2019.”

There needs to be laws that require cops who are involved in casual shootings (not bank robberies and such) to take immediate drug and alcohol tests and for them to be publicly identified as any other person would be in such shootings. The current system allows the cops to purge their social media and to avoid the same procedures normal suspects have to endure. That is a clear violation of the 14th Amendment and needs to be rectified.

 

As we are all well aware, the news has been filled with stories of cops willfully killing people without any severe repercussions. That is not by chance but a deliberate ploy on the part of the killers. They are psychos who want to kill people so they they become cops and wait for the opportunity. They really don't care if they get get caught and do a few years in prison because they know that the cop lovers will defend them and excuse their murderous acts. The police unions spend $millions on bail and legal fees to spring their buddies. Cities pay out hundreds of $millions in tax-payer money for settlements. And the killer cops achieve their ambition of killing a human being and getting away with it with a slap on the wrist.

Such acts will continue until dummies wake up and treat the killer cops as the ordinary murderers that they are. They need to be found guilty of first degree murder and executed.
