Why use edited video then? Why did they say they have obtained exclusive video from Syria? If they did have video from Syria why not use that? Do you really find not fault with ABC? And how could they just use the wrong clip? That clip had to be found from the archives.

They made a mistake. But why is it such a big deal? Does anyone legitimately want to argue that the region abandoned by Trump's order is not currently facing explosions and unrest?

You do realize that people have been dying in droves in the middle east over the last 2,000 years. Instead of using BS from a shooting gaggle in KY, why not take some footage from Yemen, or Libya or even stock video from Russian attacks on Syrian rebels? At least it would be at least area specific, even if a false narrative.

Funny thing is no one truly cared about the Kurd until just about a week ago.

Assad and Russia can put their troops in harms way to protect the Kurds.

They do it all the time... If it were Fox News, you'd be all over how inaccurate it was. If Fox can be bad news, why can't you call out the other media's with the same irresponsible reporting?

No, I wouldn't. Stop making the "If X had happened, then you would have done Y," argument. It is weak.

So you have no issue on how Fox News reports the news? More of a curious question...

How do you make that mistake? Used file scary gun fire at night instead of really scary gun fire at night. They claimed they have footage from Syria so why haven't they showed us that yet? And honestly I could really not care less about the Kurds. If this is as bad as every dim claims then were is the United Nations, why haven't the EU stepped in, why hasn't NATO said they will send troops?

Exactly... The rest of the world needs to step up and play in the sand box a while. We have too many dead and disfigured men and women do to these pointless engagements.

Why shouldn't US Allies around the world look at this decision by Trump and think, "Ya know, America might betray us on a whim?"

Setting aside that Trump just deployed those American troops to a different part of Syria and then sent another 1200 to the Saudi Arabia, defending the allies who bore the brunt of the death and disfigurement fighting against ISIS is not a pointless endeavor.

He didn't pull troops out of Syria. He just pulled them away from one region of Syria where they were actively keeping the peace and preventing the wholesale slaughter and torture of US allies.

But even if "Trump has been publicly broadcasting that he would abandon allies in the region eventually" is a good talking point, why not condemn him for making the decision on a whim? At least give those allies a fighting chance first.

He pulled them out of the fighting areas.

Remember i was against arming the ahem "moderate" Jihadist the same ones the Kurds were and are fighting.. the entire time i was against it.. What were your thoughts during the Obama Admin i wonder..... hmmm..

I'm also against Turkey being part of NATO or the thought of NATO to start with for scenarios just like this one... If i recall you and Tommy boy tried to ream me for my stance..

    How is the crow now?

First off, multiple Republicans have called this decision the worst foreign policy decision of their careers. So it isn't just democrats who are upset at Trump's willingness to abandon US allies.

Second, Trump made the decision on a whim. How can you expect or criticize any other country or group for their unwillingness to inject themselves into a region to protect US allies when they both had zero warning it would happen and they have zero incentive to protect American allies.

His decision to abandon our allies is what made that region a fighting area.

I would not criticize Fox News for airing a video that they purported to be an explosion in Syria, but turned out to be an explosion in Kentucky, given that the underlying story - i.e. that the region is now a war zone - is still accurate.

You think hundreds of years of history and deeds done in the last few years is the reason why Turkey invaded immediately after Trump told them he would withdraw US troops?

I would say Turkey and the Kurds do not see eye to eye and this is not just recent history.

The same deal as making a “mistake” and posting a photo of kids in cages that was taken before Trump was President and claiming it was an accurate depiction of current events . You think that **** is accidental? Yeah. Keep being naive!

I’m sure it was also accidental when a certain Adam Schiff recited a phony version of Trumps phone call, without setting it up that it was completely fake, because it’s not like he had reason to hope people thought he was reading from the transcript. It was only a joke, being the leader in the investigation and reading on the house floor a phony document? Yes just a joke.
