In an attempt to please their audience of one (Donald Trump), these Republican *ss-kissers disrupted testimony from a DOD official on how the President endangered national security for both the US and Ukraine by withholding military aid, and they did so by by storming the SCIF with their phones, which endangered national security.

    And the irony?

One of the Republicans leading this idiotic event was Jim Jordan. Remember him? He was one of the guys who spearheaded the investigation into Hillary's server use because he was "so concerned" with national security.

By the way, Jim Jordan has the necessary security clearance to attend these closed-door testimonies. But it's better to act like a fool for Trump and his base than to actually care about America, apparently.

I guess it's wrong to investigate a democrat right? The hypocrisy really amazes me.

So Jim Jordan claims to care about national security where Hillary's server is concerned, but then he literally compromises national security for the sake of a political stunt and you don't see the hypocrisy?

The latest Gallup Poll shows a 39% job approval rating for Trump. https://news.gallup.com/poll/203207/trump-job-approval-weekly.aspx

Trump's favorite poll, Rasmussen Reports, shows 44% of likely U.S. Voters approve of Trump’s job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/trump_administration/prez_track_oct23

That is quite low for the Trump friendly poll.

What does that mean exactly? It means that roughly 40% of Americans support Trump's cooperation with Russia. Or, Trump's supporters have no idea what is going on and they don't want to know. For example, on PF they have completely ignored the thread that deals specifically with Trump facilitating Russian goals.

It means roughly 40% of Americans support Trump's request for foreign intervention of our Presidential election, asking Ukraine to dig up dirt on his political opponent.

It means roughly 40% of Americans support Trump's extortion of the Ukrainian president, using military aid approved by Congress to compel Zelensky to do his bidding.

Trump's request for foreign intervention in our election and his use of Congressionally approved military aid as a bribe has been confirmed by White House sources, the transcript of the July 25th call and the testimonies of Trump's own advisors, including his acting chief of staff, Mick Mulvaney. Other witnesses include:

Former U.S. Special Envoy to Ukraine Kurt Volker, Intelligence Community Inspector General Michael Atkinson, E.U. Ambassador Gordon Sondland, Former ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, and Bill Taylor, the acting U.S. ambassador to Ukraine.

What is far worse is that Trump Republicans in Congress also approve of Trump's bizarre behavior. As matters stand now, they don't think aiding Putin in his goals, requesting foreign intervention in our elections, and bribery, using Congressionally approved military aid to a nation invaded by Russian forces, is not sufficient to remove Trump from office.

Trump is going down. That is obvious.

And he is going to take the Republican Party with him.

So you have nothing to say?

And you do know that both Democrats and Republicans are involved in these closed-door whistleblower testimonies, correct? They're secret due to the sensitive nature of the testimonies, but it's not like only Democrats are involved.

My gawd, Jim Jordan was concerned about an unsecured server that shillary had possibly involving TOP Secret info but that the info was DESTROYED!
YOU on the other hand want to say that Trumps call was a crime, even though he released the transcript of the call?

Rather than address Jim Jordan's hypocrisy by willingly compromising national security today with his political stunt, you whine about Hillary--an issue that was investigated by the FBI and resolved three years ago.

    Damn. Talk about desperation.

Now how do you defend Jim Jordan's hypocrisy? The man has clearance to attend these whistleblower testimonies, but he would rather grandstand for Trumpie points.

Judging from your thread topic it's pretty clear this post was written with no real understanding of Republicans AT ALL.. But hey? Thanks for trying ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯

You should re-read my OP. The Republicans stormed a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) with cell phones and even took videos and tweeted while doing so. Jim Jordan had security clearance, so he knew better. Electronic devices absolutely cannot enter a SCIF under any circumstance. Jim Jordan and the rest of his clown posse knew and didn't care.

Senate Republicans, McConnell, Graham, Thune, and others have been critical of Trump. According to Trump, they are "human scum."

    That's what he said.

    Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump

The Never Trumper Republicans, though on respirators with not many left, are in certain ways worse and more dangerous for our Country than the Do Nothing Democrats. Watch out for them, they are human scum!

I'm not attacking all Republicans. Just Trumpers.

What did their little stunt accomplish today besides temporarily disrupting testimony and compromising national security? They did it because they knew Trump and his base would approve.

It would seem you refuse to acknowledge facts. They did, in fact, bring electronic devices into the SCIF. That is a fact. Some even posted on Twitter during this episode.

Most everybody who served in the military knew immediately that Hillary's mom & pop server for government business was wrong. I'm only sorry she wasn't investigated more stringently and called into court for destroying property that had been subpoenaed.

But there was nothing going on at the time! If anything the security should be scrutinized.

Colin Powell must not have served in the military. Oh, wait. He's Republican so he gets a pass.
