What do you mean speed? The more speed you have, the larger your turn radius. The larger your turn radius, the wider your turn circle. Even if you know nothing about flying fighter maneuvers it’s simple geometry. Where do you people get your info?

 

That’s actually not accurate. We don’t fly around in a stealth configuration unless in authorized airspace with explicit clearance to do so or in actual combat. Those -35s were configured to be detected and were squawking modes and codes. You could find them with a toilet paper tube.

 

Yes. It is decent as an early warning system, but unless couples with an illuminator it is worthless for defense. For now.

You can read the quote in the papers where F-35 was dismissed as too slow, too weak amd too low performance for the profile intended.

Fact, Syria detected F 35 and was able to hit it.

Fact Germany has a radar system that clearly shows the F 35 flying through radio waves.

F 35 is for bimbo countries like Saudi arabia who fight against some cave dwellers in yemen but certainly not for fighting between advanced nations.

As part of operational and developmental testing we get to log a few hours in a variety of aircraft, primarily with the partnered NATO countries. We also offer exchange programs, and I’ve trained with German pilots. You know the square root of f**k all about aircraft, mostly because you bite off on the top speed number you pull off Google without any understanding of how those numbers are derived.

You did not fly Eurofighter, i doubt that you are a pilot at all. Tell me, what was the home base of those german pilots.

 

People who are experts in that field labelled the F 35 a low performer which led her to be dismissed to be purchased, even so its a cheap aircraft.

 

I did way back when I flew a Cessna to get my license. The two exchange officers we had in training were going to fly Tornados at Schleshwing or some ****.

 

If you can recall, I said in the other thread that I’m not a fan of the F-35. I’m merely pointing out how wrong you and a lot of other people are in this thread because spouting off nonsense is a pet peeve of mine.
