Good!!! Im glad democrats and republicans alike realize what a chameleon and a self aggrandizing phony this guy is. He was a democrat, went republican to win an election, went independent, not back to democrat,Hes an opportunist.

Michael Bloomberg’s potential presidential run is getting panned on social media– where 62 percent of the conversation about his 2020 aspirations is negative, according to the digital analytics firm Zignal Labs.

In fact the most popular tweet tied to news that the 77-year-old former New York City mayor may join the crowded Democratic primary field came from his would-be rival Elizabeth Warren.

Yeah, that's what kind of leadership the US needs--another old white guy. Another Jewish old white guy. Biden & Bloomberg, two peas in a pod.

I don't support Bloomberg, but it has nothing to do with his age, race, or religion. Care to explain your bigotry?

    So What?

The Internet is full of Trolls (and others making Epically-FAILED Attempts to push an agenda).

    The Voters will decide.

    "Hammered Online"? :bored:

    Sadly, you are WRONG.

Beto O'Rourke is NO LONGER Running.

Thus--ANYONE has as much chance of Winning as Beto.

And, IF Bloomberg Runs, he will (obviously) have a MUCH Better Chance than a Candidate that has withdrawn.

My apologies for the Pesky LOGIC.

    Carry on.:salute:

Bloomburg is totally screwing up the Dem party especially given his wild views much of which go against the DNC. He's going to put the DNC into more of a civil war than they are already in.

    Hah. This is too funny

We have to think about this. Is there something wrong with someone so aligned with centrist positions that he can succeed between the two parties as opportunity presents itself for advancement? Certainly there is nothing newsworthy in the notion of a politician finding opportunities in advancement. They do their leapfrogging by picking the right election for the right leap against a weaker field. Its just very few can get away with it because the primary process tends to reward more extreme position I think for me the answer depends on how much we value party loyalty and that may depend on the post he seeks. Next question do I want my President to be able to give the finger to the political party that he uses and exploits to get in office and manage his office totally without any partisan connections?

So What??? Anyone considering jumping into the race this late in the game must think the current clown car is full of weak candidates who can't win.

The flaw is in switching parties from democrat to republican to independent back to democrat.
Hes not giving the finger to any political party, hes using them when it benefits him. If he were genuine he would be an independent and stay and run as an independent.

    No doubt about that.

That is what Bloomberg "must think".

At the end of the day, his prime motivation (apparently) is to position himself as a "Stop Warren" Candidate (in case of a Dramatic Biden Collapse).

I have already acknowledged Bloomberg's (apparent) Motivation is several threads. :salute:

The party can be seen as a tool to accomplish his goals. As long as there is no pretense in a party loyalty, he is doing no harm to the party, and nobody expects party loyalty from him, does it matter? As a member of this party, my main worry is that he commit to the ticket if he loses, like Sanders did. If he doesn't he represents a danger rather than an option.

Its an open civil war now.

Bloomberg brings experience, untold wealth, and control of his media empire to the game.

He's likely China's choice, now that Biden is crumbling.

That may be true BT but voters who align with a party have a right to believe the person that says they are representing that party at least not be dishonest. Bloomberg is joining the race because Biden has slipped and he wants to keep Warren and Bernie out of his pocket, either or will strip the rich for as much as they can

The corporate wing of the DNC isn't going to support a Warren or Bernie.

The TRUMPocity was a Democrat once, an independent next, a Republican for the primaries and then a Trump Autocrat. So Mikey Mike Bloomberg and Trump have parallel histories with political parties.
