On an aside, if the Bidens could be called and questioned during a Senate trial, does that mean that Donnie could be forced to take the stand and answer questions under oath ?

I don't think we will though. Schiff gets complete control as to who the Republicans get to call to testify. And he will simply not allow it. If that happens then each time a Republican gets his 5 minutes they should call Adam Schiff to the stand and repeat the request over and over, then after 2 minutes shift to calling Biden to the stand and do it for the full 5 minutes and repeat that throughout the entire proceedings. Or put together a long list of people Schiff will never want to testify and again, make him turn them down a thousand times, show the public this is not a fair hearing.

If it goes to the Senate for trial, they can subpoena him.

I don't get the parallel? Joe Biden is a private citizen and no longer Vice-President.

A sitting President does NOT have to appear when subpoenaed by Congress to testify.

Creepy Joe is the only 'viable' candidate the left has. Everyone else was pro-reparations or deeply enmeshed with fringe groups, like the trannies. That sort of thing will not win in a general election, and there is no going back in the information age...

Using a public office to enrich a relation. IMHO Biden was given a 'job' paying him $80K a month in a nation where the average monthly wage is $200 because Burisma was being investigated for corruption and it was thought that would be less likely if the son of a sitting VP was on the board. That is what happened, in part thanks to Plugs.

My family taught us that it. isn't what you know but who you know. This is wisdom gained by paying attention to how the world actually works.

And knowing the right people has yielded positive results for me when it comes to jobs and income and even got me out of paying a few speeding tickets.

And even more so if one holds office or position in government.

Anyone with a working brain knows this is true so dont pretend otherwise.

    Democrat voters won't care.

    It's baffling.

You can be more specific and say Title 18 US Code Section 201(c).

Especially since apparently the current "investigation" into the Bidens is a criminal investigation as alluded to during full-of-schiff's star chamber inquisition. No wonder the left are going bat crap crazy. :)

Where is your evidence that Joe Biden did any of that? Where did you pluck $80,000.00 per month from? The Shokin investigation of Burisma and its oligarch was idle, and had been idle for some months when Biden Snr extorted Ukraine to get rid of the idler, with the support of the Obama Administration, Europe and the IMF.

His taped remarks bragging about it.

Does the news not reach Australia?

    Not really, see https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ukraine-prosecutor-biden-burisma-back-off-state-department-files

Of course the Obama Administration wanted to protect Plugs.

Not in any tape I have seen. He did brag about extorting Ukraine to sack the idle Shokin.

Of course not. I have to wait for my US carrier pigeons to get the latest news to me. They fly well above the speed of sound however. :) It was $50,000.00 per month, not $80,000.00.

Have you read your own link?

    Let's look at this.

    1) There is a supposed idle investigation.

    2) The supposed idle investigator gets fired due to pressure from a powerful US government official.

    3) Then, a new investigator is appointed and he subsequently closes the investigation.

Conclusion) Seriously; does that make sense?

No. It also makes no sense that Biden Snr would seek to oust the very bloke who was sitting on his hands and NOT investigating.

I believe that most Democratic voters would not even consider voting for Biden I’d there were convincing evidence that he sold out his office and his country to get money for his son. If such evidence exists and it meets the burden, Barr should arrest and charge him.

That said it still does not explain the idiotic scheme that Guiliani, Trump, Sondland, Perry and the 2 Russian crooks who were arrested at Dulles Airport last month. Trump had every right to appoint another Ambassador in Ukraine and recall Yovanovitch. Why all the shennagins and involvement with Russian Mobsters?
