Any values worth is dependent on knowing when and how to apply it.
Do you understand the difference between a hand-up and a hand-out?
The difference between support and enablement?
The fact that pride and self-respect can't be granted by law or gifted, they must be earned by the person, from themselves?

Perhaps you should explore those things, and the drastic differences in outcome when they are used inappropriately.

That's one way of looking at it. Here's another: without it, America would never have won its independence, or purged itself of slavery, or prevented Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan from carving up the world between them.

Bureaucrats, its a bureaucrat society , doesn't matter which party is in power

Why is healthcare so expensive?
why is wall street so powerful?
why are lobbyist so powerful?
Why is entrepreneurship on the decline?

People like Warren, Biden, AOC , sanders are not going to fix it, but they will add to the problem

Essentially agree, though believe the current healthcare debate on the left is distinction without a difference: advocating universal coverage as opposed to functionally reducing coverage.

Focus on your actual opposition your eventually Republican candidate. The Senate can’t find time to do anything but unraveling protections for preexisting conditions was on the floor this past month.

Also, a large part of the healthcare issue is directly related to our business practice that created the inequity. You’ve got to address them both and beyond a few candidates the field isn’t grasping the relationship.

Actually I'd say the political divide between the Allies and the Axis remained pretty well intact for the duration of WW2. Wouldn't you?

This strikes me as a distinctly partisan sentiment, if I may be so bold as to say so.
