Trump was basically cleared by Mueller on the "conspiracy charge" - i.e. not sufficient evidence to justify an indictment at the time of the report. Yet, now he seeks to open the investigation again. Why? The only plausible reason is to exonerate the Russians from interference in our 2016 election. Why would he want to do that? Possibly to justify pardons for Stone, Manafort and others, and to sanctions against Russia for their invasion of Ukraine and the annexation of Crimea.
Obama was President over a period of time in which our relationship changed with Russia...and included the "reset era," prior to the Russian aggression, the murder of journalists and other Putin political opponents.
