For all of his bravado and bluster it seems to me Adam Schiff will be headed under the wheels of the Pelosi 2020 bus. Ole Nancy can't let this sham go to a floor vote let alone allow it to pass off to the Senate where Joe and Hunter Biden are sure to be grilled like a double cheeseburger. In the Senate there will be no Schiff to run interference when the tough questions are asked. The Democrats are already losing support within their party. Pennsylvania State Senator Sen. John Yudichak has turned in his Democrat party card for an independent, indicating he would caucus with the Republicans. Unless Nancy pulls the plug on this charade of an impeachment, I can easily foresee many Democrats in the House of Representatives following Yudichak's lead. The Congressional landslide of 2010 is still fresh in their minds where the Democrats lost 69 seats because they lock stepped with the leadership on Obama Care.
Yesterday was a turning point. Republican star witnesses, Ambassador Kurt Volker and Tim Morrison confirmed the Trump inspired investigation was primarily aimed at the Biden's. Dan Goldman did a masterful job of moving both men step by step through their testimony until both concluded that the quid pro quo was a nearly $400 million bribe for Ukraine if they would publicly announce an investigation into the Biden's was underway. Volker painted the Biden conspiracy theory as completely untrue and painted Biden as an incorruptible honest man. Under Goldman's cross, Morrison unattached from his statements about previous witnesses and confessed there was indeed a bribe. At one point, Nunes told the assembly that Volker and Morrison were Democrat's witnesses which drew chuckles around the room. That was understandable since these Republican "star witnesses" just kicked the pegs out from under the GOP case and defense. The turning point: like Watergate, the investigation has progressed from the crime to the coverup. Once that happens the cast of players expands ten fold. Pompeo, Giuliani, Bolton, and a many others involved in the scheme are sure to be called. Pompeo, selling out to Trump has probably done irreparable damage to his career. It was a pretty sad day for Republicans.
That is not accurate. Volker and Morrison both claimed there was no bribery no extortion no linking of the investigation to the aid and no Qpq. They were explicit about this.. both from the American side and the Ukrainian side.
I don't understand why you persist in trying to paint Biden's ultimatum to Ukraine as something significant. It's not even worth debunking because it was a statement of U.S., E.U., and IMF policy yet you keep going on and on. Do you understand what's happening here?
So much WRONG that I don't even know where to start. 1) Nancy ISN'T going to "pull the plug" on anything. 2) The party switch of a PA State Senator is completely IRRELEVANT to this issue. 3) Totally LMAO at the notion of "many Democrats in the House of Reps. following Yudichak's lead". ^There is ZERO chance of that happening. NONE. No further comment is really needed. Your "opinion" of what MAY happen has been thoroughly dissected (and debunked). Carry on.
I want to see Vindeman and Volker quedtioned under oath at the same time . I want to see their interactions..
