Booker 'taken aback' after Bloomberg calls him ‘very well spoken’

    Presidential candidate Sen. Cory Booker said Friday he was “taken aback” by 2020 Democratic nomination rival Mike Blomberg’s "problematic" description of the New Jersey senator as “well-spoken,” saying it plays into "tired tropes" about African Americans.

    ...Booker – one of only two remaining black candidates left in the still large field of Democratic White House hopefuls – said Friday in an interview on SiriusXM that “it’s sort of stunning at times that we are still revisiting these sort of tired tropes." He added: "The fact that they don’t understand is problematic.”

    Booker was just saying a few days back that the DNC is racist for not allowing any people of color on the upcoming democrat debate.

    And now Bloomberg seems surprised at how articulate Booker is.

    This harkens back to 2007, when Joe Biden referred to Obama as "clean and articulate".

    2 Dem. Candidates BOTH going nowhere having a little spat?:roflol:

    And, of course, the RW Noise Machine (who sees a Conspiracy in every wisp of their coffee clouds) uses it as an excuse to drag Biden into it? :roflol:

    Just more proof that the RW is terrified that Biden is going to defeat Trump.

    AJ, did top Dem Bloomberg say this about top dem Booker or not?

    These are long standing and deeply hurtful stereotypes about blacks-what does it say in the modern era about the democrat party.

    Also, I didn't "drag" Biden into this-he said almost the same thing about Obama.

    We have to remember the past or we are doomed to repeat it.

    Given this epic effrontery towards the Black Community, the Dems. are toast.

    Trump is headed for a 50-State Sweep with 95% in DC.

    The Dems. might as well not even field a candidate.

    If I was a person of color-and I already suspected racism from the DNC for not allowing even one person of color to attend the debate-hearing this would be quite upsetting.

    No wonder Booker was taken aback by this backhanded "complement" based entirely on a racist premise.

    Liberals are the worst racists... they express complete surprise when black people are "well spoken" pat them on the head and say well done. This is why they advocate for Affirmative action, because blacks need the extra help :lol:
    The liberal mindset also can't accept that blacks can also be racist, because you have to be superior to look down on someone....

    No bro. The conspiracy here is Booker finding racism in a complement. Think of it, during the last month or two this is basically the ONLY story we've heard about Booker, which is probably why he needs to cash in as many race chips as he can.
