Oh I agree! You should see what flushing with to little water does to a older homes sewer lines, it's not pretty!

Habitat for Humanity store usually has plenty of old, non-epa-****ered, high-flow toilets available for cheap.

We bought a low water usage washing machine. We paid around a thousand dollars for it. I set it for "Bulky" and an extra rinse because it does not get all the detergent out. You have to use more water to make it work right.

That's the reason most Maytag have had "Extra rinse" cycles.. I generally wash with the largest load cycle in cold with two rinses myself :( But your point is valid!!

Many years ago I got into a prolonged discussion with a Canadian. He sold a system that circulated the hot water in the house so that you did not have to wait on the water to warm up. It was advertised as a water saver because, for instance, a 3/4 inch water pipe twenty feet long has to discharge over a half gallon of water before the hot water gets to the tap. He claimed some outrageous amount of water wasted per household waiting on hot water. He claimed that "scientists" came up with that number. I pointed out that I rarely waiting on the water to heat up. In addition, that system wastes an incredible amount of energy because their is no better way to dissipate thermal energy than to circulate it, even in insulated pipes.

No, the EPA has been stomping out innovation and competition for years, while the real morons think they are being protected

In other words somewhere he went recently had a low flush toilet, and he was so full of **** it took ten to fifteen flushes to get rid of his load.

I suppose when you are full of s**t, you need to flush 10-14 times.

If you have a toilet with weak flush then just replace it. I had one in my house when I bought it. I replaced it myself with a toilet from Costco for $140. Works like a charm. I’m actually thinking of replacing another one now.
If you are afraid to replace the toilet yourself I’ve heard an average plumber will do it for $300. Not really that expensive for a pretty good upgrade. Replacing it yourself is incredibly easy, just watch a few videos on YouTube.

I honestly couldn’t understand what Trump was talking about. Sometimes it does look like his dementia is progressing.

I think he was referring to the amount of flush's per person per day, no so much about the toilets..

Cow farts, or more factually cow belches, are big contributors to climate change. There are many factual, scientific articles available if you're interested. Just google your own phrase.

I'm much more concerned about wasting water. Than cow farts..

We need more cows to bring down the cost of beef and cheese..

If that's a real issue, why didn't he just say that? Seriously, the man can barely speak a coherent sentence unless he practices it ahead of time, or unless it matters to him, personally. So what, exactly, is he having the EPA look into here? Capturing rain water to use to flush toilets?

He's guilty, he knows he's guilty, and impeachment is not a mark to be proud of even if the Senate Republicans are living in Trump's fact-free universe and won't vote to remove him.

In most states it's illegal to collect rain water .

It's silly to spend time and money treating water to make it drinkable then have it go into a toilet.

Even if Trump was Hitler, impeachment doesnt do anything about it.

There are no states in which it's illegal to collect rainwater. Some states restrict the uses of the rainwater, and the amount, but no all out ban on collecting rainwater in any state, even California. Some states (like Florida) encourage it.

OMG, did you see the part where he kinda drifts s off repeating how the shower, "drips slowly, slowly drips"....it was SPOOKY!

I saw that last night on Colbert and couldn't , once again, understand how anyone could want that as a President..
