"He's a spokesman for Saudi Arabia." (Title continued)

    https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...oting-pilot-suspect-king-salman-a9237806.html

Really interesting to see the lack of threads about this terror attack, especially considering that it involves a Muslim shooter and three dead US sailors. But then I realized that the people most likely to be outraged are also the biggest trump fans. And trump, the guy who has never failed to rush to judgment when it involved a Muslim and terror attacks, is being ultra cautious.

In fact, Trump banned "dangerous" (read: muslim) countries and left Saudi Arabia off the list. Trump let this guy in. And he immediately rang up Saudi Arabia after this guy killed Americans on American soil and went out of his way to apologize on their behalf.

This is so blatantly an effort to put trump's own personal business interests above those of the country.

Yes sadly it does appear that this current POTUS D.J. Trump did indeed apologize for the barbaric behavior of a Saudi terrorist.

I bet if the next terrorist attack against us is made by a Russian national or "better " yet an ethnic Russian this current POTUS D.J.Trump will call up his boss Putin and apologize to Russia and call the report Fake News.
Then Trump will blame the act on Ukraine. He will then send Guiliani to Kyiv to find the server which "has" the plan for the terrorist act.

Putin will give Trump the Hero of the Soviet Union medal of which there sill are 100,001 thousand of them in Putin's collection.

If Trump personally cured cancer you'd be mad about it.

This is the first I've heard of this and if it ends up being true and not FAKE! news, I certainly would have new opinions about President Trump. Bringing to justice anyone in Shithole Arabia and particularly Mohammad bin Salman would be extremely difficult, since so much of our economy and US citizens retirement funds are tied to their Oil. It would be nice if we could just say Screw um, give them an hour to evacuate Mecca then the Nuke the Damn place and teach um a lesson about screwing with the US, but cooler heads than mine need to figure out how to handle this.

I recognize and respect the import of Saudi Arabia and I also recognize the limitations associated with holding their top leaders to account - not that MBS should be personally blamed for this killing (unlike Khashoggi).

But there is a time and place for apologizing for the behavior of citizens of an ally, and it ain't immediately after their nationalist just killed three US sailors on US soil.

So the dems said “They are devastated in Saudi Arabia,... And the king will be involved in taking care of families and loved ones. He feels very strongly. He’s very, very devastated by what happened and what took place. Likewise, the crown prince. They are devastated by what took place in Pensacola.” after a terrorist shooting at a US military base on US soil?

The same dems that said the US is “standing by Saudi Arabia” after they executed a journalist?
Along with “maybe he did and maybe he didn’t!” and my personal favorite
“They are our best Arab ally.”

Also from the dems: “The king said that the Saudi people are greatly angered by the barbaric actions of the shooter and that this person, in no way, shape or form represents the feelings of the Saudi people who love the American people so much”. They love us so much they bomb our bases and fly planes into our buildings.

Oh wait — this is all trump?
He could nuke one of his supporters home towns and if someone dared say anything negative of him they would scream “tds” and “orange man bad”. It’s becoming a mental illness guys — not a good look.

I see a number of things wrong with your post. First off, SA was left off the list because Trump used Obama's list. At least in the link I read Trump did not apologize and he didn't 'ring' up SA, they called him. Trump's tweets simply stated what King Salman told him. Otherwise Trump is not rushing to judgement as so many on the Left do and he stated they are investigating. You see, Trump and his supporters are awaiting the facts. We aren't prone to jumping to conclusions based on political ideology such as a MAGA hat wearing Christian teenager was.

    "Trump used Obama's list"???

I have to say, of all the hackneyed dumb excuses that Trump's idiocy happened because Trump copied Obama's list is pathetic.

So then, after copying Obama's "list", now Trump, as the Republican wonderful leader of the Free World, now just copies and pastes King Salman as Trump's current excuses!

Given the quality of the intelligence of the White House excuse-makers in our Presidential Cabinet, we believe that!

If these sorry excuses for the murder of our troops is a legitimate act of restraint by the Trump and NOT just an excuse as another white wash of our Republican turd-polishers kissing the behinds of the billionaires from the Middle East, it's a first! But let's not assume the Kings and Princes that Trump's bowing to these leaders means their bone-saws have been retired!

    They haven't.

Splattered. I'll give 10% for effort but the outrage comes across as forced. Theatrics need work, delivery and timing were predictable. Way too formulaic, lacks believable spontaneity.

Better luck on your next production.

How is Saudi Arabia responsible for this?

Obama let these soldiers in for further training ..

We've been training Saudi pilots for as long as I can remember. Predating Obama.

We sell many foreign countries complex military equipment that requires formalized months long and in some cases year long training.

Honestly, I'm not sure there's a better or near equal solution to training allies than within our existing facilities.

I grew into adulthood in the Pensacola area, early 70's, even then foreign aviation students were present. Foreign flight students as well as senior aviation tech students have (or had then) the opportunity to live in the community with host families. Many flight students lived off base.

    Cheers

Which part? I don't think the timeline is in question. The attack happened at 6:30 am. Trump responded with quotes from Saudi Arabia's leader within a few hours.
