Squid Go Pro and Bribery are too specific, and the Dems have nothing even close to any specific proof, because the plural of accusation is not proof, and so those had to be abandoned in favor of the vague and nebulous "abuse of power", because Trump has been beating on the Dems like redheaded stepchildren and they feel abused, and "obstruction", because Trump refuses to get on the impeachment train and be railroaded.

 

Impeachment is crumbling before our eyes.

But cheer up, Dems. After the election, you can impeach again. Maybe Trump will insult a foreign leader and you can cry, “Treason!”.

The house has just made it an impeachable offense to investigate anyone who is running for political office, and made it an impeachable offense for the president to go to the SCOTUS for clarification on house overreach.

Besides, it's pure speculation to assume the only reason why Trump sought assistance from Ukraine, concerning Biden's coercive act to use $1 billion in aid to fire that prosecutor.

On the on hand, the dems are allowed to speculate on trump's motivations, but Trump is not allowed to even look into Biden's motivations.

 

Besides, what "dirt" was Trump supposedly seeking, that he could use against Biden?

The actual dirt that makes Biden look bad, was Biden publicly admitting to blackmailing Ukraine to fire the prosecutor investigating Hunter's former employer.

Why did "quid pro quo", "bribery", and "extortion" morph into "obstruction" and "abuse of power"?

Until I hear another explanation that makes sense, I'm just going with the pretty obvious theory that Dems know that they have a seriously weak case to make against Trump on the sketchy specifics of bribery and extortion, and so they pivoted to a more broad and ill-defined set of "crimes".

In a word, it's just more obfuscation.

 

That is because threads that deal with impeachment evidence are prima facie not worth reading. They're like threads that deal with the fact that the moon is made of green cheese -- might be entertaining but nothing to learn there.
