There is no need to for him to testify. This is the only way that Trump can win. This is why he wanted investigations announced but not done, to cast doubt on his political opponent. He can't win without help.

If he is, I bet he complies and turns up. Roberts will rule him to be irrelevant to Trump's impeachment trial.

    Joke.
The congress could have involved the judiciary and compelled him to obey the subpoena. But it didn't. He is well within his legal rights.
    You will lose big

Based on what they charged Trump with they seemed to make sure Biden was irrelevant. What a coincidence, eh?

Nope.....this is Trump's Trial. Not Biden's. Get after him separately.

I just want this to end, no matter how it turns out. If Trump's impeached though, the Republican Party will have to do something to placate its base. And that means the 2020 President(presuming it to be a Democrat) will be in the same scenario as 2012 Obama.

Not much, if anything will get done.

Nope. There are existing subpoenas, ignored. The Article of Impeachment will rely on that. So...for example......subpoenaed Person A ignores his subpoena and says it is lawful that he do so because Trump ordered that he must. That means the onus is on Person A to establish that as legal reality, and the onus will be on Trump to establish that it was lawful for him to so order.

None of that changes that the House needed to go to the Courts to enforce a legally enforceable subpoena and it chose not to do that. Trump has substantial legal grounds to stand on as it relates to the subpoenas. Blame Pelosi's laziness, incompetence and power play as a Speaker.

Incorrect. The House has a power to subpoena. If anyone in receipt of one says it is unlawful, then the onus will be on them to establish so.

The president and his team established that. And he's the one who gave the orders. The others who received it don't have to make a legal argument.

Wrong. The President and his lawyers CLAIMED that his staff could ignore the subpoenas, now they will have to prove it in the Senate trail to address the obstruction charge.

The problem is that this ability fora President to ignore Congressional subpoenas will apply to every President in the future, even the Socialist ones. Is that something we really want?

Joe Biden told voters that he was VP in 1976 and that he was in Ohio when he was in Iowa.

I doubt he can find Washington DC on a map or could get there. Of course, he could always his coke snorting son for a ride. Hopefully this time they don't leave all of their drug paraphernalia, wallet and AG badgers in the rental car again.

It is now since Nancy made sure the articles of impeachment had nothing to do with the Ukraine phone call or Russian collusion. Fancy that. The Democrats have now become the laughing stock of the nation.

    Good luck next November.

A few days before in New Hampshire Elizabeth Warren. This doesn't bode well for Democrats. Republicans need to flip only 18 seats to take back the House.
