Uh. Actually it is, and in fact operated in that format for several hundred years before collectivism took root.

At the time of our founding, and for decades we didn't have a federal income tax, no department of education, people where given the freedom and protection of oppotunity only. This idea that we all have a responsibilty to each other, mandated by law, is a newer concept that took root under FDR and has spun completely out of control.

His resorts are commercial properties. Every time he goes there, many people in the entourage will use resort facilities and services - rooms, meals, golf carts etc. There is NO evidence that he is letting the federal employees use those facilities and services for free, and there is evidence that the resort charges the federal government for them.

The whole purpose of this lawsuit is to reveal just how much taxpayer money Trump is directing into his own pocket.

But his supporters think it is a "win" for him to be able to hide that from the American people.

The president has an entourage, secret service, aids, advisors, details. You think those costs go away if he went to Camp David?
