What Schumer actually MEANS however is that the GOP dominated Senate should direct their attention ONLY to the things and issues that the Left dominated House and minority leftist Senators desire and NOT look . . . anywhere . . . else. Not even close to "unprecedented." Lincoln, for one, faced much, much worse. And the activity against Trump is more than justified considering he is almost certainly going to be considered by history to be the WORST president of all time. History will judge the people mounting opposition to him to be heroes.
People who supported Clinton 30 years ago still think he was a "great" president; people who didn't support him still think he was an "immoral" president. People who supported Reagan 40 years ago still think he was one of the "best presidents ever"; people who didn't support him then still think he "destroyed the economics of America". Trump's legacy will be no different in 10, 20, 30 or 50 years. What people remember about their personal feelings and tell their kids and grandkids is more important than any written history. He will go down as one of the "best" and one of the "worst" presidents in history because today "love" and "hate" for him is around 50/50. History is what it is and if history is recorded accurately it will reflect this period, and Trump's presidency, as one of the most politically divided eras of the 21st century.
Okay. But history does judge presidents...and other world leaders. Some are judged positively and some negatively. My guess: Trump will be judged harshly...VERY harshly. Just a guess!

The U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence delivered their bipartisan report on the Benghazi terrorist attacks on January 15, 2014. That's nearly three fricking years before Hilary lost.
And the last official Benghazi Congressional hearing chaired by Tray Gowdy closed on December 16, 2016 - AFTER the election. You are wrong once again.
and the House Select Committee continued their investigation until July, 2016 and published their report on December 7, 2016 a month after the election.
