I have been trying to decide whether this is a good idea. I have concluded it is a good idea because of fairness.

Part of the reason why drugs are cheaper in Canada is that US drug manufactures include the development costs in the price of drugs sold in the US. Some of the drugs the US manufactures sell in Canada are only priced based on the marginal cost. That is the direct cost to manufacture the drugs, but no development cost. Since the drug manufacturers have to recover the development costs. This will likely lower the price of drugs in the US, but will increase the price of drugs in Canada.

Actually these more often than not ARE made by American pharmaceutical companies and sold to Canada at much lower prices. These are not generics or knock offs but the real thing.

    U.S. Federal Government Tax Revenue

    FY 1991; $1.05 trillion (1990 Recession ended March 1991)
    FY 2000; $2.03 trillion
    https://www.thebalance.com/current-u-s-federal-government-tax-revenue-3305762

UP 94% over 10 years, NO RECESSION + higher corporate tax rates, + higher individual tax rates, + huge FICA excess contributions, + higher employment rates,

Question: Will Trump revenues increase by 100% over 10 years?

    Answer; Most likely not

CONCLUSION; Several initiatives need to be undertaken to control costs.

Just pointing out facts. If Iranians claimed the US hadn’t killed people from that region my response would be the same.

No the left would rather tank the country simply because a Republican is President. And the bubble you speak of was set in to motion long before Bush the younger took the seat, Slick Willie gets that honor and the rest goes to Barney Frank and Dodd and the failure to acknowledge warning signs and the call for stronger oversite and regulation concerning Fannie Mae and Freddie and 15 years of subprime loans/lending..

And since we melted the Japanese, when and what war was really legitimately worth our involvement?

So how many Americans were killed by Iranians? Not by their weapons, by Iranians.

Well, we could follow that theory a little further down the path of logic.

Let’s say Iranians haven’t killed any Americans. But we still aren’t happy about the current state of affairs. So, the US government builds a special nuclear weapon. We train some Israelis to deploy it. They level half of Iran. There is overwhelming evidence we built the weapon, funded it’s use, and trained the people who “pulled the trigger”. When we are accused of killing Iranians we plead innocence. Nope, we didn’t kill nobody. :)

Ummm. I had it all along. You claimed Iranians haven’t killed Americans. Which is it? Have they or haven’t they? Can’t have it both ways. We kill by proxy and by American trigger pullers. Never claimed otherwise.

The fact remains, Iranians have killed far more Americans than people killed in Texas churches. By many orders of magnitude. We haven’t even gone down the road of dual US/Iranian citizens slaughtered by the Iranian government to add to the total.

I can't find any info on Iranians themselves actually killing Americans.
    Maybe back in the 70's?

If I hire a hit man to kill someone, and the hit is carried out successfully, I’ve committed murder. If I’ve hired a hit on an American, I’ve killed an American. I’m confused as to why simply being Iranian would change that dynamic.

Point being we are the worlds biggest supplier of weapons used to kill others.
Quite possibly the largest financer of fighters in other countries.

why not just make them over the counter and allow people to order them online

why should we have to get permission from the government to buy a medication we need
