Do you believe it is a good thing that people can no longer believe the president*?
Everything the current one says is suspect — we can believe him on simple items much less issues like this.

Is that something to be proud of?

Ima pragmatist and rarely fact check what people say. Now, reporting their deeds is different and is all that counts for me. And in that department, Trump excels. Trump is not a process guy, he’s a results guy, but I’m sure you’ve heard it already.

Given that Trump works much more than Obama, he should play more, too. Right?

Results, like fixing healthcare, bringing back world respect for America and our institutions, paying off / down the debt, being too busy to golf, releasing his tax returns, draining the swamp, locking up Hillary... those types of results?

Im sure the logic of that escapes you. If you work more you cannot [by simple math] play more.

Forgive me for not making it simpler. If you’re more productive, you have more time available to you to play. As in

Trump works hard, and plays hard, too.

I have a question for the rest of forum friends. As a person that has never been in the military or even a member of pseudo military organizations like the boy scouts. Does the death of a general avert plans for an attack? For example if one of our generals was planning a strategic operation and died will those plans also be scrapped. I can understand a delay but it seems if the plan was assessed as being worthwhile, we would just replace the general and proceed. I can understand a bit of a delay to get the new person up to speed but I would think it would still proceed. At least that is how it works in the private sector. If someone heading up a big project died, it is highly unlikely we would scrap the project. There are too many others involved and obligations to be met. The only way in my mind the death of this general would lead to the scrapping of an operation is if the plan was he is like John Rambo and was going to single handedly infiltrate and attack the embassy on his own.

    How is he more productive?
Virtually every metric of the economy is following trend lines as set during the Obama administration with the exception of manufacturing which is now in recession.

No, it would not be scraped, it would be doubled down on.
    The president* is lying.

OK, then why are there so many people in the media and on this forum implying that the assassination of the general averted the attack. If the attack was imminent and the military does not scrap plans due to the death of one person does that not imply the attack is about to happen?

We’ve been trough it many times, our metrics are very different. I’m happy with mine.

Doubled down on. So you'd accept 100 for sure casualties instead of acting now because you might lose 100 more if you don't act later. Odd. Were you ever intending to stop it? Or is doing nothing your intent?

"Let not any one pacify his conscience by the delusion that he can do no harm if he takes no part, and forms no opinion. Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing."

These seem simple but from the grave the past screams to act now.

That doesn’t address my question. Since you believe that the MSM is all just lies and you find that unacceptable what does it suddenly become acceptable when the president* does it?

Except trump* is the only one making the accusations that he was going to be attacking numerous embassies and several reports are now saying he killed him because the GOP was demanding a distraction.
