It did and Iran was keeping to it. As I said the deal was because Iran was believed to be ready to have nukes whenever she wanted - however Iran has been called for being about to produce Nukes since I arrived on political forums. The deal made sure Iran would not be developing nukes at the current time and allowed her to work to build up her economic relations with others. That tends to be one of the things which keeps people at peace. Iran says it does not believe in nukes for religious reasons. I think she almost certainly could have had them years ago if she had wanted them. I also think she was a fool not to get them. However people believed she was a hairs breath away from making them so they came to a deal in which Iran agreed for a number of years to dismantle them. Iran stuck to her part of the deal. The US did not stick to theirs. With the deal Iran does not have nukes. Without the deal unless Iran is a fool she will have them asap.

Bye the way the entire way Iran has worked since the US gave up on the International Treaty has been by the protocol in it. Iran is working very hard to be the one going by law.
