do you know who the shooter was? no, but judging from the history of that city it's most likely a gang-banger... those kids know their hood and should have known better not to threaten random peeps in vehicles... yeah, even 11 year olds are gang-bangers in that city...

just another criminal on criminal crime...

Are you concerned about them having access to any other instrument that they may use other than a gun?

that's just it, they don't have access to it, they acquire it illegally... short of confiscating & destroying every firearm worldwide & shutting down all firearm manufacturing (including for the military), they'd still get them illegally...

So your position is that because you can get something illegally, we should just make it a free for all ?

You didn't answer my question. Why is that? I'll answer yours after you answer mine.

the usa already has sufficient strict laws for purchasing firearms... any other restrictions would undermine legitimate, responsible citizens from owning/possessing... not prevent the criminal element in any way, ergo there'd still be 'mass' whatevers...

rather than curtailing responsible citizens, why not devote your energy towards ridding the world of gang-bangers & cartels...

seems as you prefer living with criminal organisations rather than a responsible gun owning/toting citizen...

agree, the driver should be arrested if he committed a crime with his gun, the children should be arrested as well - let both see the consequences of their actions

You throw a snowball at my car or my family while im driving down the road, you better expect a response. Probably a talk with the parents, doubting they are even around or even listen. There is no excuse for that. People don't know how to act.

There is NO WAY to prevent access to guns in this country. NONE!

It’s like saying are you OK with drunk people having access to cars. You can NOT stop a drunk person from driving unless the ignition is attached to a breathalyzer and even then someone else can activate it I believe. Or they can buy one illegally....just like a gun.

There are always ways to obtain basically anything you want if you really want it.

How do you know it was an "unstable" "young person"?
How do you know he didn't get the gun in accordance with all state and federal laws?

There are millions of other things that can be used to kill. So which things?

Thank you for proving my point.

This person was NOT a “responsible gun owning/toting citizen” if he a shot at CHILDREN for throwing snowballs. THAT is the point.

I NEVER said we should take guns, OR keep guns form law abiding citizens. But we have to find a way to make sure that they ARE the right ones to own a gun.

Well.... That answers that question. You're not concerned about any other way to kill a person. I mean, if you can't even name any then that shows that you're not concerned.

People like that? No, obviously not. No one is "ok" with people that kill with a gun, having guns. Which is why we send them to prison and permanently remove their Right to own a gun.

This. Kids do stupid things, but a snowball is highly unlikely to do any damage.

You throw a snowball, which also probably contains ice, at my $100,000 car... and you better believe I'm going to react.

How about this. People and their little rugrats should leave other people alone. Noble concept.

the correct response is to call the police, not shoot them
