That's King Harry and Queen Meghan of Australia
    and Protectors of New Zealand.

How many areas might the outback be divided
    considering Archie's future siblings?

    :hmm:

They like Canada. Harry went to school here and Meghan lived here for a few years while shooting her tv series. And, at least in Canada we give a symbolic constitutional nod to the Commonwealth's monarchy.

And Harry doesn't just rely on his annual royal stipend. He's worth at least $30 mill, so poverty ain't around the corner no matter how many of those "perks" he loses.

what's happening to his wife, he see's as a repeat of how they treated his mother. I'd say he's got some serious psychological and emotional motivations to make sure his kids don't go thru what he did.

I'm not sure you're quite right about Harry's wealth. His share of his mother's £30 million fortune is estimated at £7 million according to an ''expert'' interviewed on the BBC.
Not exactly a pauper though and your point still stands.

For ol' Harry to settle for THAT in the first place hints at something spectacular about her that surely isn't obvious to the rest of us... astounding 'sphincter control' comes to mind as one possibility....

If it was just about the wife and kids, they would simply abdicate.

If this were a normal relationship, we would just say, "heh, he could do better," and that would be that. However a marriage into royalty seems to me to imply a commitment to a particular way of handling yourself, of comportment, and duty and obligation to the institution. It doesn't seem that Meghan, and increasingly Harry, are in to any of that.

It's their Queen, as I understand it, but nothing else. They can't go to war and they're military allies but that's about it. And don't even think about Australia and New Zealand, they're more distant still. Neither one of them were ever really obedient offspring of Old Blighty in the best of times.

You know who might just be a refuge? The Bahamas, pity the have their own difficulties right now

"We've decided it's just SOOO tedious being adulated like rock stars and living like billionaires when we're really just Enid and Ian Chav from the East End." Let the Rolls break down when they need formula for little Archie one late Tuesday night, see how they like being "non-Senior" royalty then.

Between the British tabloid army and the crap in this thread, no wonder she wants to get away from people. I would move somewhere very remote and disappear.

That Is Why Australia makes sense.

King Harry & Queen Meghan of Australia and Protectors of New Zealand.
Archie as Prince of the Outback.
It was obvious from Day 1 the Royals were going to "Diana", Meghan.

It seems like they have decided that they have no “need” to be senior royals... whether or not the rolls breaks down,

I imagine that they will still be treated as pseudo royalty... with all those perks
But will not have the ceremonial obligations... nor, hopefully, the obsessive fascination of the English tabloid press.

personally, I do not much care what they do, or do not do. Regardless, I imagine that England will continue to have an adequately sized official royal family to fulfill the necessary functions... what ever they may be.

maybe they want to also pay some deference to the family... especially the queen. I imagine that, based upon history, the royal family is a little sensitive to the whole abdication thing

Adequately sized is just direct heirs to the throne.
I'm more than happy for the rest of them to have the same freedoms I have and for them to stand on their own two feet.

Australia will be almost unlivable in another 50 years (almost is now) so that's a no go.

I wonder if they have to go through the same process as other immigrants that want to get into Canada. I hear Canada uses a merit system. Does Harry have any skills that would benefit Canada and not make him a drain on society?

No PDAs is not 'old ways'. It's how the majority has always lived, and still lives. And why on earth do we need it?

    Successful acting career .... LOLs.

Meantime, that she's now realised how much work it is, just confirms any suspician that she was in it for the prestige and freebies.

Maybe the royal blokes need to stop marrying flakes, then they wouldn't have these problems. Find solid and dignified women like Kate.

5th but he's not direct line. There would have to be a serious family tragedy for him to wear the crown.
    Archie is 6th.
    Andrew is 7th.

$50k per episode seems like successful to me.
    I'd take that for a week's work.
