You know that there was a warrant out for his arrest, right? Are you saying that there were zero charges in the warrant?

Saying that we don't know the details of the sexual assault allegations is NOT the same as saying that Assange is "guilty until proven innocent."

I find this to be a rather extraordinary thing for a woman to say! If a man brutally rapes a girl in Sweden, you wouldn't be talking about not paying attention to the " strange laws on rape" in Sweden would you? Anyway, the allegations against Assange are sexual assault allegations, which is different to rape.

Except that he neither raped nor assaulted anyone.

This from last week is little more than proof of life but it is - at least - that:

Swedish court - the only one that matters. But more important than that .... the woman.

As in there was a court case? I don't think so. Assange didn't stand trial in Sweden.

Go to any American campus and hear the definition of "rape."
It's bewilderingly varied, and quite imaginative.
But if you force a campus woman's legs apart when she says
"No" and you penetrate her then I think this act would be
covered by every left-wing definition of the word "rape."
And beside, "It's against the law."

I (1) suspect you blew up the oil refinery at Kwinana but unfortunately (2) I have no proof of you doing it ... (3) there is no record of the refinery ever having been blown up ..... so (4) I cannot compel the courts to charge you with the crime, nor can you (4) stand trial for a crime that is (apparently) only in my fantasy. Funny how that works, huh? Now - see if you can draw a parallel scenario with the Assange case.

If Assange was innocent of rape, then why didn't he go to Sweden to clear his name?

Because he didn't have a name.
    He's a thief, a sexist sleaze and a traitor.

If you are innocent of blowing up the refinery why have you not turned yourself in to clear your name?

You tell me first - what government has accused Julian Assange of the things you stated above? MABYE even more importantly ... what EXACTLY is the "crime" you think Julian Assange is guilty of? I'll be within reach of my computer for the next 6 hours so you can reply at your leisure.

According to the facts. The Swedish authorities threw out the charges, twice. The police told him he was free to go.

All that you read in the media is a false narrative, beware.

Thank you, Eleuthera. Once again you inject a shot of sanity into the arms of those on a mad dash for lunacy.

Or the powers that be can pull an epstein.

Anytime you have dirt on elites or bust them out for war crimes you end up in prison or dead. For dead men tell no tales and speaking truth to power is dangerous in these times we live in

If western nations survive this onslaught Assange will eventually be a hero. Dead but a hero.

That is well known. He didnt want to be extradited to the US for publishing war crimes that the US wanted kept secret. He sought refuge in an embassy for the same reason.

Apparently he did not want to die or spend the rest of his life in prison for speaking truth to power.

And the treatment of Assange is good warning to any press that does its job and speaks truth to power . This has been our only hedge against a criminal govt and criminals in power dont want to be busted out.

He allegedly removed his condom or didnt put one on .

I guess that qualifies for sexual assault in Sweden .

I would like to see a detailed history of the assault and then what followed in detail For one source had the charges being dropped and then the prosecutor bringing them back in order to extradict him so the US could get him.

But I also read that the Obama admin were not actively trying to get him because they thought this was a case against the 1st amendment. Yet that admin went after that fox news journalist ...

The attack on our press is one reason journalism is dead and mere propaganda outlets.

One thing about Assange and Wikileaks. Everything they published was 100 percent factual unlike msm. That is because they published govt documents and not opinion pieces and partisan meanderings.

Exactly right - but wouldn't all of this apply if Assange was guilty of rape?
