In that case I would seek peace with them, obviously your boys are not good at what they are doing.

I know YOU say so - not that it is or was so
And NONE of that got ANYTHING to do with IRAN

Lies, if we worshiped death it would be you with Holocaust memorial centers - not us.

Lies, the right of self determination was RECOGNIZED (never given....who "gives" it??) to both ppl - they fought over the land, Jews recognized it to the Arabs, the Arabs rejected the Jews.
The Jews NEVER ethnic cleansed ANY Arab until The Arabs started the war shortly after 181 was voted, the Jews came here since the 19th century - what was your first date of "cleansing" ?

Lies, kill all males , killed all civilians......you are full of Jihadi propaganda.....

    Talk to who ?
Once again, with all due respect for BDS ppl hare - the issue at hand is Iran and specifically the dead Iranian General. - not the Palestinians.

Irrelevant; this isn’t about racial pigmentation, but mentality. The mindset of the 20th century European and modern Jew was completely alien to that of the indigenous Palestinian.

Ppl migrate when they really suffer in their old place otherwise no one would go thru such a thing, Jews fled Iran, that's a fact, US, Europe or take a chance with a new fighting for survival state - Israel, doesn't change the fact they ran away from you.

Naturally, non-Muslims in an Islamic state will not have the same rights as Muslims, since they’re not Muslim to begin with. Would you have preferred that they be forced to comply with Islamic codes and regulations, rather than have their own Jewish and Christian courts to adhere to?

And I lost my socks 2 days ago, but I’ve moved on...

What’s to explain? The Palestinian population was not comprised of European Jews, but of the indigenous peoples of the region who lived there for millennia.

But, as per usual, the white European
came along and- without any consideration whatsoever for the indigenous folks- started to do as he pleased. They’ve been doing this for a while now, ever since the early settlements of the Americas (where they slaughtered and destroyed Native culture).

And then they want to turn around and tell us that Muslims want to invade us and subvert Western culture. But we know they’re full of ****.

Two ways to address this, either we are all humans with same rights affected by same forces - in that case persecution and genocide shifted ppl from once place to another - and its natural just like today.
    Or
We stick to tribes, religions and national rights to those who can keep them - i.e the Jews failed to do that in Roman times but do pretty good today.

so? They didn't "look" Jewish enough??
    Their food smelled funny?
    Their shoes were different?
    Really?

If they are accepted into the faith, into the community, by what right do you deny them?

Their culture mindset was totally alien to that of the indigenous population. Their perception of the world was manufactured in a Western context. They brought with them ideas and concepts and a way of life that had nothing to do with the region (like Communism).

It’s one thing to take care of them because of Christian Europe’a persecution of Jews during WWII (yet again), but their intention was to found a state based on their modern and Western political and socioeconomic theories.

So then, do you think that Chinese citizens should have the same exact rights that Americans do in the USA?

1 It has everything to do with the way the Israeli/Palestinian blood feud is treated by the religious right = one sided.
2 Certainly not - The use of sophisticated mind control techniques in Islam is worse than on the religious right.
    3) To quantify the number on the religious right who have a "Zionist" perspective ? It is the fundamentalist Evangelicals/Pentecostals that have this perspective. These make up most of the religious right.
    4) Yes
    5) See 2 and 4

and what you just said has nothing to do with the point.

This is not about whether or not we liked the guy - I don't happen to care for many world leaders - and associated diplomats/ those high in the leadership hierarchy - Is this sufficient Justification to go on a killing spree ?

This was a violation of a millennia old covenant - that ya don't target diplomat's/ this in high leadership positions - of other nations - because they fought against you in a war 20 years ago.

Yea I agree its an extreme measure, leaders are not targeted in normal conflicts between states.......but........using proxies to fight your wars, using terrorists that fly "pirate" flags to disguise who they really fight for and cause real strategic damage might have been the last straw to America, it's not a normal war between two national armies, and so, taking the opportunity to eliminate that guy was a risky bet - that pulled off...., the bet was successful.

Yes - the US led a global coalition to arm, supply, and support an radical Islamist terrorist proxy army in Syria - this is true. How many of our leaders should be targeted for this act - since we are throwing the rule book out the window ?

like the "White Helmets" or the much vaunted "FSA" supposedly moderate "Free Syria Army".

I get it - how many of our leaders should be targeted ?

What strategic damage - and how does this action justify violation of the rule.

    So what?

I lived for a number of years outside the United States. Visually I stuck out like a sore thumb. So what?

of course I have no idea which homogenized society that you are from, but looking different and having different cultures and ideas certainly does not keep Americans from coexisting together.

    It's 2020!
Them? Being the Jews, you mean? WHO 'took care of them'? How so?
Of course it was! Why shouldnt it be?

And a Meccan fellow installed a monarchy in TransJordan...so what?

I do not doubt the sincerity with which you hold your position, but from where I sit it looks like a lot of ethnic hooey.

I'm not sure how that relates to Moorish administration of Spain.

Would it not be more exacting to ask if the Moors had the right to a special tax to be paid to them by the Spanish people?

At any rate, I doubt that any country could or would extend full citizen's rights to foreign nationals.

You can be absolutely certain of this, there is no way that a Chinese national would be charged a 10 cent per dollar sales tax instead of the usual 8 and 3/4, based solely on ethnicity, nationality, or religion.

Except we’re referring to early 20th century Palestine.

Indeed, there were times when the Jews had to flee Christian European persecution and find safety in Islamic lands. This is a historical fact.

Great, so you wouldn’t mind then having your house invaded, its inhabitants tied up, and the new occupiers declaring it their own foundation.

    ??Elaborate??

Non-Muslims were not required to join the Islamic armies, and thus had to pay this defense tax. It was also used for the upkeep of non-Muslim places of worship. It’s not like Muslims didn’t have their own form of taxes to pay!

Exactly, which is why it doesn’t make sense for Muslims and non-Muslims to have the same rights in an Islamic state.

Gilos has patiently reminded us a couple of times that this thread is about Soleimani, so let me speak to that.

I am not crying because the guy is gone.

I am sorely p*ssed that our president did not have the decency to contact our allies before this strike was made...I did not say ask for permission, I said he should have done the decent thing and given them a heads up.

I tend to agree with an earlier statement that the US was on the scene and probably needed no information from Israel; though that certainly does not mean that there was no confirmation from Israel.

Any contact between DC and Israel creates problematic optics.
