If Obama did in fact do that it would've have been covered up or minimized because the media protected him while he was running for president and during his 8 years in office. Those that went after him or tried to expose anything was labeled a "racist."

As far as these so called double standards, Trump during the 2016 primaries was highly ridiculed by the right, religious right, the left basically everyside for his controversial past. However the religious right and the many that scrutinized him in the primaries rallied around him during the election for the good of the country as we're electing a Commander-in-chief and not a Pastor-in-chief. I don't recall hearing "it's just Trump being Trump."

Here is a double standard, the left has all of a sudden become so morally superior that they forget Trump may have had affairs before he was elected, but at least he isn't having "sexual relations" in the Oval Office, using a young intern as a human cigar holder while Foreign Diplomats waited! When this happened Democrats stated, "that's between him and Hillary." Now THAT is a double standard...

I don't think there are too many states in this nation don't allow religious texts on school property. Someone openly proselytizing is a different matter.

What are your feelings on that ?

How do you know?! Are you basing this off fact and because you know him personally? Or is this a cliche, bitter liberal assumption out of hatred for Trump?

It was rather surprising that it was him of all the GOP 2016 candidates made the biggest outreach effort to evangelicals. He’s kept his promises to us and hasn’t relapsed into old behaviors. He was not beyond redemption and forgiveness/salvation so many of us backed him. His efforts to keep his promises warrants re election to a second term.

Hasn’t relapsed into old behaviors? You’re cute. You’re going to claim Trump isn’t still the same person he’s always been?

Doesn't say "The Creator" it's open to the interpretation of the individual "their Creator".

Are you? What kind of moral life have you led? Are you the same as in your youth? Have you improved at all? Does your exemplary life qualify you with insight into others?

I think that Ashe realized the enormity of the responsibilities he was going to and is facing that he’s mellowed our a lot and actually is finding a place for God in his life.

The founders rarely used the word God. Washington and others used the word "Providence". That goes back to the ancient Hebrews who were very respectful as to how they addressed the "Creator". I don't know if it is necessarily wrong to use the word God, but the common thread here is all those words begin with a "capital " letter. There is a common thread here in that they refer to the One and only.......and we can tell through their writings exactly to Who they referred.

And He’s the same God that gave us our inalienable rights that men through government had no right to take away from us according to the founding fathers and their writings

    Merely projection on your part.

Trump’s daily tweets give us a good window into his psyche. And he is still the same vain, petty, greedy person that everyone who lives around him in Palm Beach has dealt with for years

Yes though they’d have to do it privately or in free time like everyone else. Also during school hours they’d likely only need two of those five.

The Declaration of Independence didn't found our nation. The Constitution did.

Lucifer sat at God’s table alongside God’s other sons.
It was a Supreme Court ruling that took prayer out of the schools.

However, the argument used to gain support for the no religious test clause, and the no establishment clause in First Amendment, was to tell religious people that otherwise another sect might gain control.

Thus, deist like Jefferson erected the wall of separation between state and church by playing off of sect rivalries. The Baptists hated the Catholics who had the Episcopalians, who hated the Lutherans, who hated the Quakers who hated the Calvinists who hated....... It was the history of Europe the preceding couple of centuries, near constant war drawn over religious differences, difference from one sects interpretation of the Bible from another.
