Do you think that this impeachment trial is nothing more than a big waste of time?

Sen. Ernst, the vice chairman of the Senate Republican conference, said Saturday that President Trump’s counsel had disintegrated the House impeachment managers’ case for convicting the president.

“I thought today was an incredible two hours, and within two hours, I thought that the White House counsel and their team entirely shredded the case that has been presented by the House managers,” the Iowa conservative said. “What we heard today was very concise; it was full of truths and facts, as presented by the House managers’ own witnesses. It was not filled with half-truths and personal stories.””

It’s time in my opinion to end this. This charade has gone on long enough. We’ve seen enough Trump Derangement Syndrome the prior three days. It’s time to acquit with prejudice so that this matter or any related to it can never be brought up again.

It’s all over but the crying for the impeachment advocates.

Of course the vice chairman of the Senate Republican conference is going to say such. That was expected anyways due to the partisan nature of this impeachment.... And just another example of why impeachment should not be done unless there is bipartisan support for it.

They all lost her and she’s one of those up for re election swing state senators the impeachment gang were counting on for one of those four votes for additional witnesses.

"you all"? Who is "you all"? I'm me and me alone.

Oh wait...because I stated something obvious and didn't just nod my head dumbly I'm for impeachment and in the Dem camp of Trump hating? Perhaps you should review my past posts before continuing along those lines......

I actually agree with you that impeachment should only happen if there is bi partisan support of it in the House first.

I think we both misread each other’s comments. Its now obvious that we both oppose this impeachment and see it as partisan and a waste of time
