Great news but so much more to go. First stop the clear biological abuse of real women by men with an obvious psychological disorder from dominating women's sports. Will this fracture the Democrat party pitting those who actually accept biology vs those who believe in feelings over science?

In the early days of the 2020 legislative session, seven states have introduced bills to keep male students from entering and competing in female sports. New Hampshire, Arizona, Idaho, Washington, Georgia, Tennessee, and Missouri have taken steps to end the unfair practice of allowing males to compete against females in school sports. Several high-profile cases have highlighted the unfair advantage that males have against females, creating a firestorm surrounding this issue nationwide.

Eighteen states already prohibit males competing in female sports and if passed, the new legislation would bring that number to twenty-five. The American Conservative reported the controversy:

In high school sports, for example, there is no conclusive, federal policy for transgender inclusion, so each state—and even [county] and local jurisdiction—is making its own determinations. According to the pro-LGBT advocate group GLSEN, there are 18 states that have policies that prohibit transgender students to participate in high school athletics. According to Transathlete.com, eight states including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Nebraska, and Texas, say that a student’s sex, as recorded on their birth certificate, determines whether they play on women’s or men’s teams. This has of course been called discriminatory by trans advocates.

Good....this isn't even a Tranny issue at the core. Would it be fair to Have females go against men in the uneven bars? How about pole dancing?

I have stated my position several times on this matter.

I am Absolutely OPPOSED to allowing Biologically-Born Males to be allowed to compete (as Females) in Female Sports.

They (obviously) have an Unfair Physical Advantage, and it ruins the competition for "Real Girls".

Won't dispute the pole dancing, but what's so special about the uneven bars that would make females better than males? Go to 2:22 in the following video:

With that rule, a biological female who takes male hormones can still compete with women. I don't think that's fair either.

IMO all transgenders should compete with men.

And no, that's not discrimination. Discrimination is banning them from competing, not assigning them according to common sense.

I didn't look it up, but surely there are restrictions on what substances an athlete can introduce into their bodies. Steroid injections? HGH? And testosterone injections? Surely those are banned?

I wonder how long it will take California to boycott these states?

Anyway, and I've said this before, how does 0.000001% of the population manage to get so much attention?

Well, I suppose a temporary fix is better than nothing. However with this new binary third gender crap that’s allowed on birth certificates in some states, and more states to follow, we will be in the same exact boat down the road. Can’t we please go back to basic 4th grade biology and determine one’s gender by chromosomes.

Difference Between Male and Female Chromosomes

    • In humans, a male is born if both X and Y chromosomes are present, and a female is born if both the chromosomes are X.

What you need to understand is that entire purpose of the trans issues is to wipe out freedom of speech and open the door to propagandize your children into weird sexual fetishes in the school system. Forcing your political opponents say things that they (and you) know are untrue is the highest aspiration of political power.... when you have achieved that, you own the nation.

Don't tell the science deniers that because they're, well, in denial of scientific facts.

In the left's world they literally promote and want people to feel they're in the wrong body and the left will defend those people to the end and say they're normal. But walk into a gathering of leftists while wearing a MAGA hat and they'll instantly oppose and hate you, you'll be criticized, ostracized and possibly violently attacked.

I dream of that day. I just can’t seem to find too many of those gatherings in AZ. It’s more the straightforward democrats out here and not so much the weirdo liberal leftist as in CA, OR and WA. The irony is that’s it’s our very liberal gun laws that we have in AZ that prevent the antifa type liberal from becoming “violent”.

This is what happens when toxic radical leftist culture infests a nation. Laws that never before would even have been considered, then become necessities to prevent political correctness from harming innocents. So . . . it . . . goes.

I think this is a good move. I expected something like this would happen after trans athletes started dominating a high profile sport like tennis or golf. Something that is televised rather than high school sports. Does anyone know why this hasn't happened yet? Does tennis or golf have rules against trans athletes? I remember years ago a male tennis players said something like the 100th ranked male player could defeat the #1 ranked female player. With all the money in women's tennis I would have expected this to have happened already.

They could also have open divisions where the only separation of competitors is based on age. This way the gender challenged can still compete, but they're not going to be able to stand triumphantly on the crushed goals and dreams of biological females, like a little bitch.

No , no, Trans people have rights like anyone else. They do not however.... have the right to an unfair advantage in sports. But they should be able to compete. Maybe with other transgender people.

I googled Bobby Riggs and I guess you are referring to his match with Billie Jean King in 1973. I don't know much about tennis, especially from that era but my thoughts are:

    1. Bobby Riggs was Rank #1 in the world in 1946 and 1947. I know for other sports athletes from that time period were no where close to the physical specimens athletes are now. I heard interviews from football and hockey players in the 60s and 70s say there use to go to training camp totally out of shape and used training camp to get into playing shape.
    2. Riggs vs Kings was in 1973. Riggs was 55 years old and King was 29 and I am guessing by looking at the years of her grand slam wins, still pretty competitive at this time. I am guessing that Riggs was not playing professionally anymore and probably would not make the top 100 ranking.

If you don't believe me try Serena Williams from 2010.

Riggs was 55. King was 29 and at the peak of her career.

This is one of those issues that separates the fringe from common sense.

Females have been abused enough historically. No need to add a modern abuse and unfairness.

I will not believe that most of the left is fringe. The fringe just gets undue attention when it should be ignored as too crazy to talk about

When are we going to stop wasting the taxpayers money and eliminate sports entirely?

Children can learn and then after school, any parents have their kids do whatever they think is best?

Have your kids play football, baseball, do gymnastics, skating, shooting, whatever?

Sports teams can subsidize the kids who are 6'10" and muscles as big as footballs and sports lovers can still get drunk as they want while they talk about how lousy their own kids play! Make your kids put in muscle builders and steroids, making the get their brains scrambled and scream at the kids at their games and practices!

The fringe has a pretty easy go of getting the undue attention considering the left's emotional need to be seen as "woke." And the result is that the fringe ends up in control because the left dare not ignore them as "too crazy to talk about" because that would automatically revoke the revered and much desired "woke" card.
