China barricading people in infected cities, 2.8 Million Infected, 112,000 DEAD

As of 5:30 PM eastern US time Friday, January 24, 2020, about 46 MILLION people in 16 cities in China, are under LOCKDOWN Quarantine, as a new virus spreads like wildfire, killing HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS. No one can enter or leave the cities involved.
The Chinese Army has deployed 50,000 troops to surround Wuhan, with orders "SHOOT TO KILL" anyone trying to escape as hundreds are trying to flee the cities-- ON FOOT -- because there is NO FOOD.
Armored Vehicles are on the streets as more and more videos emerge of infected citizens dropping-dead as they walk!
Never before in the modern history of human existence, have 46 Million people been Quarantined; yet that is exactly what is taking place in China today.
Officially, people in the following cities are "LOCKED-DOWN" -- No one can enter, and anyone in these cities is forbidden from leaving

It does seem very odd that they have quarantined 60 some odd million people already with the military and several videos of people just collapsed on the street. I assume the death toll is much higher than 56 but cant imagine it's already at 112000.

Agreed on the article provided but I also believe we arent being told the whole truth. Why would the government quarantine 60 million people for 59 deaths? Also how did the citizen's get video of so many of them dying?

None of the major news sources are posting anything larger than the current 56 but this website has tons of video in it. Not saying it's the most respected website but they have tons of info.

 

I’m a bit astounded that people believe this is true. The sources behind these numbers are not even close to being reliable. Yes the official number that says 56 is low, but it is important to note that this number doesn’t represent an overall estimate of the number of people killed by the virus, but rather the overall number of deaths that are confirmed to be linked to the virus.

 

Every couple of years we get a story about a deadly virus sweeping the world. Then governments pay pharmaceutical companies billions to produce a vaccine for stockpiling which then deteriates and never used. Then everyone forgets chicken flu, swine flu, bird flu etc. Rinse and repeat. People have always died from influenza notably the old and those already of ill health.

This is a seriously alarming event sort of ticking along while we watch pretend news like the Impeachment Follies. From what I can find, the number of folk infected is far larger than advertised and it is spreading faster than governments can monitor or control. The mortality rate could be greater than 2.5 percent. (Greater than the Spanish Flue pandemic of 1918-1919)

Think about that, more than 2 people of every hundred infected die..If 100,000 folk get the disease, then over 2,000 die. If a million folk get the disease then 20,000 plus die. Put in terms easier to follow, if 1/4 of the us population gets the disease, then we have 85 million sick and more than 2 MILLION die...

We lost about 1/4 that many in all of WWII

That is enough to shut down the country for months as people stay home...food runs out, sanitation is questionable...and government gets abusive..(well, let's be honest, government is always abusive)

Consider shopping for necessities while you can.

I'll side with "Not true" but say the official numbers are low and they are always low because they are "confirmed" deaths and confirmed cases. Which means they always error on the side of caution.

BTW, it would take far more than 50K troops to quarantine 46 million people and keep them from fleeing.

 

If your objective is to stop disease quarantine works if it is done big enough and early enough.

So, as more and more details get released, the numbers get lower and lower. Already down from 46 to 30 and it's a lock down not a quarantine....

I think there is way more to this story and we are not getting the full picture. The Dow is also thinking we are not getting the full picture.

 

A few hundred dead out of 50 million quarantined is telling. If that number sick is true, the Chinese would view the disease as a rounding error.

 

While there are nuggets of truth in Ostats story, the dead number is ridiculous. While indeed millions are quarantined, the estimates of 5 times more illnesses and dead than officially proven is more like the actual number, something like 7,000 ill and 500 dead.

Bad enough, but China is doing the best thing to do. Sadly, it is the USA is the place will not do quarantined done well, and that's going rough. USA is very Just In Time too, so selling out stores will be quick to find out.

If its a real pandemic, China will try to cover it up until it explodes. If its not, big pharma will make it look like one to sell vaccines.
