Guess the earth ain't worth fighting for... but man are neo-communist willing to punish Americans for global warming.

China dumps zillions of pounds of trash in the ocean and Democrats are totally cool with it.

How does the brainwashing work? Do they drill a hole through your skull and pump a soapy solution in until it starts coming out your ears? Does the process cause you to lose memory? If you get too many washes does it bleach your brain? Does it hurt?

China is leading in the development of renewable technologies. The cities have become quite polluted, yet they are taking steps to improve the situation, as one can’t have a productive society if the air and water is killing them. It will take awhile to change things, but one has to start somewhere.

Left-leaning individuals tend to gravitate towards “soft” occupations, like academia. Since most are irreligious, they perceive the world from a total material perspective, and thus reflect that on their works.

Can anyone make a strong argument that teaching only one side of any issue without examining or encouraging examination of opposing viewpoints is not by definition brainwashing?

Is teaching based on rote memorization of “facts” presented and authenticated by those in authority not the epitome of authoritarianism?

Don't understand the difference between no liking what they are doing and still loving who they are?

Did she say this or not?

Millennials and Gen Z and all these folks that come after us are looking up, and we're like, 'The world is going to end in 12 years if we don't address climate change, and your biggest issue is how are we gonna pay for it?' " she said.

I have noticed a tendency, regardless of political orientation, for people to claim clear falsehoods indoctrinated into school children such as black/gay oppression in the U.S., Earth ending within 12 years, many genders, Trump fascist, whites racist as just "opinions" that people have a reasonable grounds to believe instead of the flagrant lies they in fact are.

True. Many means "more than 1". And there are 2 genders. :)

    True!

Double the time, then it's almost true.

    Very true!

    Likely to be true.

That's a ship ton of China loven right there.

Democrats act like PR reps for countries like Iran and China.

Developing technologies is a lot different than stealing technologies.

If democrats fought for America and defended America like they fight for and defend China and Iran they would never lose an election in America and people like me would have a completely different view of them.

Cute, but it's primarily playing your greatest hopes against your greatest fears. Guess what party excels at it?

I heartily disagree with every part of what you said. Teaching is not a soft profession. It takes time dedication and energy. Most teachers I know are religious probably to the same percent of any other occupation except clergy. If they perceive the world from a "total material perspective" why would they take a relatively low paying job?
..and since the local community sets the standards and hires the workforce all your community needs to do is hire teachers that fit the community standards.

Statism is just another form of religion. State schools teach children to unquestioningly believe in and obey arbitrary authority.

You argue, then, that government education is about instilling beliefs.

That all sounds warm and fuzzy but it is not the truth. In today's politically correct climate merely disagreeing with one's chosen gender identification and their agenda is being disrespectful.

Racism is part of American history and does still exist but not every word, action, or disagreement IS racism.

Anthropogenic CO2 emissions are warming the planet but conservation or a reduction of CO2 emissions will not cool the planet, it won't even stop the warming.

Call it brainwashing or call it a poor education of our educators, the result is the same.

There are no "state schools," only local schools.

I'd expect state schools' teaching to be grounded in fact and evidence. If that's not the case then there is cause for reform.
Religion's teaching is grounded in superstition, not supported by anything except myth, and should be ignored.

There’s no denying that, but it isn’t on the same caliber as the military, or the business/corporate world, or entrepreneurship. This is why academia hate and mock Trump- his methods go against everything they thought was true, which makes them very insecure.

Religous in what sense? Do they separate religion and academia, or do they attempt to intertwine the two? The latter are ridiculed and ignored by the top echelons of academia.

Because they never had a real desire to be wealthy. But there is more to the material than just wealth.
