MSNBC -- you know, the cable network fronted by NBC? Anyway MSNBC is full of talking heads with national security clearances -- otherwise known as Obama holdovers. Well these people don't like Bernie Sanders and nor do they want to talk about socialist dreams and schemes.

They'd much rather talk about how the Deep State is Trump fiction but how also if it did exist it would be all Trump's fault. They just don't have time for and nor interest in an aging hippie wannabe Marxist who settled for being a socialist, like Bernie. Turns out that MSNBC is not alone in this. Most leftist outlets remain firmly in their 'get Trump' mode rather than 'Let's promote the socialist for the presidency!" mindset. They are currently way more Bernie's enemies than is Trump, since Trump thinks it a hoot that the political Left is even contemplating running a socialist against him.

    https://newrepublic.com/article/156545/bernie-sanders-msnbc-problem

The unspoken donkey lurking in the room with MSNBC or indeed NBC or ABC or CBS of CNN and NYT and Washington Post is that all of these media outlets now get their political marching orders from the Democratic National Committee -- the DNC -- and the DNC remains just as firmly against Bernie in 2020 as it was in 2016. Oops!

I wonder what this means for the mainstream media? The MSM has already lost viewership from conservatives and the ratings are down. If many on the left are pushing for Bernie but the MSM is against him, that could alienate even more viewers, and the ratings will further tank.

I guess that is the danger when "mainstream news" becomes nothing more than shills for the DNC establishment. Perhaps some good will come from this and networks will trend back to reporting the news in an unbiased manner.

For a time the DNC controlled MSM outlets and the few Right of Center ones that exist, might actually sound as if they are speaking with one voice in regards to Bernie, but since being the DNC's political donkeys is now so ingrained in the vast bulk of media outlets, as soon as the DNC finally tells them who to endorse for the nomination the break will occur and once more and the groups will separate. Real reporting, real journalism, real ethics no longer exist in Left of Center media outlets.

MSNBC really has become the DNC's lap dog. They will work to undermine his rise, and do whatever they can to undermine the primaries....much like CNN did in 2016. The collusion between the DNC and CNN sweep really under the rug, after the false accusations in regards to a Russian conspiracy with the Trump campaign. Their cheating has gone unchecked.

Darn shame. If they would start acting like normal, unbiased anchors then people would watch them again. I got tired of seeing 17 to 20 minutes - in a 30 minute program - of negativity on Trump after he won. All these people wanted to ruin his character and his demeanor. All they succeeded in was bringing in more support to Trump and lost a couple of anchors to CNN lol.

Precisely; and since NBC fronts MSNBC there are deeper implications as well considering that NBC, ABC, and CBS always 'speak' with one voice. The DNC ideologically OWNS the political loyalty of the vast bulk of the nation's media outlets, period.

When the former chairman of the DNC -- Donna Brazille -- went to work for Fox News, that should have told them something . . . but obviously it didn't.

I watch the MSM once a day for the drama of will they cover that?

It's easy to click to local news during the commercials.

That and, "If they do cover that then what sort of ideological or political spin will they put on it?"

Bernie Sanders has policy problems. That is to say, his policy ideas suck.

Bernie Sanders is a clueless socialist who's never worked outside of the government teat industry. He's got lots of policy problems, yes.

it’s his problem. He’s got a lot of ideas without any workable solutions that wouldn’t destroy us. Being enthusiastic isn’t solving problems.

if he gets the nomination his ideas will finally have to be questioned and discussed by rational people, and it’s all going to blow up.

We can thank their college educations for that. What could it possibly take to be a journalist or professor these days? It's well known that more often than not, people with the lowest SAT scores usually go for education degrees and come out on top (not all, but most) because the courses are easy. It makes total sense if you look at the state of our education department. These are the people molding the developing minds of our young children before they go to get indoctrinated by the college professors. And what does a college professor look for in a journalist? All you have to do is pass their course and assignments. That's what we're putting out into the world today.

The only reason I tune in is because watching the left eat their own is political porn for me.

No critical thinking going on at Sarah Lawrence College:

Charles Manson redux moves right in with your chiwren on campus:

    https://www.thecut.com/2019/04/larry-ray-sarah-lawrence-students.html

Talia Ray was an undergrad at Sarah Lawrence College and explained to her friends that her father was a truth teller, but had been silenced by powerful men. He was in prison because he had tried to save Talia and her sister from their mother. Talia was influential among her friends, and she took charge of Slonim Woods 9, a dorm ON CAMPUS where they lived. Talia told her friends that her father was being released from prison and needed a place to live, namely, in their dorm. Her friends didn't worry much. So PawPaw ex-con crashed right in.

YGTBSM. You couldn't make this up.

Did you watch Buttgig, Sanders, and Klobuchar address their supporters last night? Bernie screamed about free tuition, free healthceah, free free free, and Trump is a racist. Buttgig's message was "I CAN BEAT TRUMP!" (I wonder if he wants to run against him, too). Klobuchar's message was "Let's beat Trump!"

Other than Bernie's Free Everything boondoggle policy, the only platform offered was beating Trump. And Biden said, to about 18 people, that it's only been 2 states and you don't give up just because you lost two pennies. Or something corny like that.

Bernie was the winner and couldn't even pull half of the voters he pulled in 2016. He didn't even pull as many as Clinton did in 2016. Meanwhile, Trump continues setting records.

When the Foxy Blonde Legs Channel was kind of predicting Bernie the winner I flipped over to MSNBC and CNN. CNN seemed not so happy, MSNBC's madcow seemed like she was going to wet her pants or something, happy faces all around.

It's for these reasons that many leftist journalists are pointing out that increasingly it's looking like Trump is going to be smiling all the way back into his presidential re-election.

Dude... WHOA. I haven't finished reading it yet, but that's some intense stuff! It gets deeper and deeper the more I read, but I wanted to break away to say that kind of indoctrination and brainwashing is exactly what I was talking about!

I think more to the core of your point is that Commissar Sanders from the Vermont Oblast has a DNC problem. The DNC is probably going to do everything it can to scuttle his campaign during the primaries and Tom Perez has already stacked the convention committees with "establishment" hacks like John Podesta who'll be there to ensure Sanders doesn't win a brokered convention.

Personally, I'm perfectly delighted to watch both of these camps screw each other over. It's difficult to see how this doesn't end in another full-on commie train wreck in November...

Or "solutions", depending on your POV. A lot of people like what Bernie is selling. They're not just on the Dem side, either.

The problem with Bernie's solution is that the tax increase will kill this country. The democrat theory to keeping voters voting for you is to keep them dependent upon you. To keep them dependent, you have to give people something they want. And what's more appealing than getting everything for free and not working for, or earning anything? If you're a lazy slug, that's Utopia in your mind. If you're on the other end, working your ass off and earning what you want, it's a disaster.

Bernie, the millionaire, hates rich people and says he wants to tax the hell out of them. Does that make any sense to you?

The only thing that has changed from 2016 to 2020 is the democrats are getting worse turnouts and Trump is getting record turnouts.

We've been warning y'all since day 1 that if you don't start exerting your energy into finding a platform that reaches out to Americans, instead of spending all your time trying to sink a sitting president, you're gonna have a tough time winning an election. I'm glad y'all didn't listen and I hope y'all continue not to listen. But it's gonna be tough to reach out to Americans when the current D platform is taxing the country to give away free stuff, especially after everything Trump has been able to accomplish in his first 3 years.
