You shouldn't be comparing directly as these studies are done with different cohorts, different techniques, and different parameters.

Rather you should be examining it for broad trends and again-those who identify as left wing are more likely to have a disorder.

I don’t need no damn survey to tell me that. Just watch Jerry Springer, Cops and CNN. Thats all the data I need to confirm how whacked out the left is.

 

I hold an MBA and a BS in accounting (that I don’t really use) but bounced around quite a bit in university with varying degrees of success — pre-law was my favorite outside of what I landed on, few semesters of pre-med/pharmacy, took a few courses on behavioral psychology and statistical analysis, even tried my hand at a few art programs which I bombed.
If I could start over I would probably do civil engineering or architecture.

That's what I was thinking, too. I didn't dig into the details of the surveys, but did any break down demographics by age?

Democrats try to nab the younger generation early while they are more emotional, starting with entry-level jobs (low income), have less life experience, and are generally more insecure and mentally uncertain about their future. That's why Bernie is stressing the need for "people under 30" to turn out to vote. That's his key demographic.

We had the whole helicopter-parent generation where kids were told to "Go ask an adult," for any issue, rather than independently working things out for themselves. Older generations were raised to "Solve your own problems". It was part of learning to become an independent adult.

The younger generation or two (or three now) also find counseling and mental health services to be acceptable (go talk to a counselor), also reflecting something of a dependence on others. The "Vote for us and the government will take care of you" platform of Democrats is appealing. For older generations, seeking mental health services was a social taboo.

The more "dependent on others" someone feels, the more likely they are to go to counseling and be diagnosed with mental illness...and vote for the party who promises them that "We'll take care of you."

Yeah, but people actually do make a living doing this, and compliant, boot licking, overly polite, yes people actually do complete extremely long surveys. For free.

 

True, but not successful people with families. Surveys only represent the views of those with nothing better to do.

 

... Or, or, the brains on the left are trying to evolve, and it makes us a little looney as our brains try different pathways and connections.
