Not pursued for the same reasons Hillary gets off scott free. She has her own dossier's on everyone in Washington and if you try to step on her head she will bring em down by the dozens from both parties. You think a guy running the FBI doesn't have his own set of files. J Edgar Hoover was the most powerful man in Washington for decades because he had damaging info on almost every congressman alive. He was untouchable.

Same with Comey, people might spit in his general direction but no one from either party will touch him. They don't want any of his secret files coming to light.

Overall I think the attempted coup by the democrats will go unpunished.

To be fair that's how the FBI descirbes lying....

"The OIG report begins with a summary of the statutes and policies relevant to the activities detailed in the report. It identifies two “lack of candor” offenses in FBI disciplinary policy, “Lack of Candor - No Oath,” (Offense Code 2.5) and “Lack of Candor - Under Oath” (Offense Code 2.6). The former prohibits knowingly providing false information to Bureau superiors or another government agency when “questioned about ... conduct or the conduct of another person.” The latter prohibits “[k]nowingly providing false information in a verbal or written statement made under oath.” Both offenses include not just lying but also “misrepresentations, the failure to be fully forthright, or the concealment or omission of a material fact.”

We've all discussed the Stone case, and you know what I'm about to say: Stone is still getting prosecuted and even sentenced. It's just not to the extremities of the case. That's not at all an even apples and oranges comparison to someone lying(or as they would call it "lacking candor") under oath and not being prosecuted AT ALL.

This is the same thing as IG Horowitz claiming the FBI established a "low threshold" to lie to us and begin Crossfire Hurricane. There simply is no defense of the two tier justice system. But don't worry, you can cheer it on and no need to portray a defense: It's not even prosecuted, so who cares?

In lieu of that, it becomes perfectly understandable how we give "aid"(US taxpayer dollars) to foreign countries. America is corrupt, and was corrupt before Trump. Trump just happened to lift the veil of the ugly, and the even uglier that things that you or I would be prosecuted for, those "too big to prosecute" will not be prosecuted.

Comey referred for prosecution. Declined. McCabe referred for prosecution. Declined 14 FBI officials/agents leaked classified or sensitive materials. Not one prosecution. But Flynn, Stone set to be thrown in jail. DOJ double standards has caused a rule of law crisis. - Tom Fitton

Ready to impeach Barr? He’s clearly going under the bus with Sessions.

It's not so much about McCabe but saving the FBI. People want to forget corrupt dirtbags like Comey and McCabe, but actually making it official that our top law enforcement agency was run by convicted felons is a stain that never goes away...

    The law was applied equally.

But that wasn't really what you hoped for. You hoped for it to be applied in a partisan political way, like in a banana republic.

And how will you explain that away if no charges come out of that?

Good to know. But a breach of an FBI disciplinary policy is not a crime, is it? Hasn't he already been disciplined by the FBI?
