Your fake accusation that I have disparaged Christianity is exposed by the reality that I have said nothing critical of Christianity.

Phony self-righteousness demands some pretext, however feeble.

I accurately noted Christian iconography, and made no suggestion of its impropriety.

When it was noted that "Bre Kidman for Maine uses guillotine as her campaign symbol," I correctly noted that Christianity had adopted another implement of execution as its symbol.
Please respect the truth, and do not bear false witness against thy neighbor.

The Abrahamic religions all have their symbols. Christianity's is the cross.

Don't get upset. We clearly understood what you meant with your image of the cross in your post.

You take every opportunity to mock Christianity and Christians, especially if they’re white and conservative.

I’m done with this. Let’s move on.

The left has fully embraced the police state and gov't sanctioned violence against those having differing political opinions.

    Yup, that's today's leftism in a nutshell.

I have refuted your fake accusation. We know that I said nothing to disparage Christianity in this thread.

Have I ever averred to the hypocrisy of many white evangelicals? Indeed. That is an affirmation of the Christian values that I celebrate:
    1. Feed the hungry
    2. Give drink to the thirsty
    3. Welcome the stranger
    4. Clothe the naked
    5. Visit the sick
    6. Visit the prisoner
    7. Bury the dead.
This is the sort of perverted religiosity that I do not hesitate to confront:

As an abstract symbol yes. I doubt it's intended as any kind of direct threat and more as a means for getting attention (which has obviously worked). I think that says as much about the system and voters than it does about her specifically. The very best political policies in the world probably wouldn't receive as much attention and a controversial symbol on some t-shirts.

To be fair, she said "the plutocratic & kleptocratic norms that have undermined our democratic process." (my emphasis). It's a reference to abstract concepts rather than people. It wouldn't surprise me if you hadn't just fallen in a trap she set for you though.

Being a declared Democratic Socialist I wouldn't put it past her as being a veiled threat trying to pass off as an innocent "but I'm only referring to an ideology, not people!" kinda thing.

Sorry, but I don't trust anyone that believes in a mix of mob rule and robinhood complex.

I'd argue that suspecting someone of wanting to commit political genocide simply based on an abstract political label attributed to them wouldn't make you any better than the enemy you're imagining.

Difference being is that if I'm wrong then nothing happens. If I'm right then we're all up a **** creek without a paddle. And its not like there isn't evidence that at least some Democratic Socialists want violence. Some of them would be quite happy to round up those that support Trump and put them in internment camps modeled after Auschwitz.

Don't have to read the article. Just watch the video. You'll see a Democratic Socialist mention the guillotine, and gulags.

You can find extremist kooks of any political colour you might like to imagine, especially when you’re playing with such simplistic binary labels. I mean, all you’ve proven to me is that some Americans are violent so maybe I shouldn’t trust any of you.
