The tax cuts were for businesses, not individuals. The upcoming cuts are for middle class incomes.

No, the tax cuts I'm referring to are personal tax cuts, not rate reductions for business.
That's what Trump said the last time when he turned around and gave 85% of the personal tax cuts to people making more than $400,000 a year. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me...

You said you suffered from schizophrenia, defined by the medical world as:

"A serious mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. Schizophrenia may result in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning, and can be disabling.Schizophrenia is a serious mental disorder in which people interpret reality abnormally. Schizophrenia may result in some combination of hallucinations, delusions, and extremely disordered thinking and behavior that impairs daily functioning, and can be disabling."

Any schizophrenic such as yourself behind the wheel of a deadly weapon such as a car is truly frightening.
That's why you should have said yes on the DMV form and not lied.

Question 2 from the NY drivers license application.

"Have you received treatment, do you currently receive treatment, or do you
    take medication
for any condition that causes unconsciousness or
unawareness (for example, a convulsive disorder, epilepsy, fainting or
    dizziness, or a heart condition)?"

    https://dmv.ny.gov/forms/mv44.pdf

So you lied, because by your own admission you take medications for schizophrenia.

I don't agree that my treated schizophrenia causes unawareness. But, I'll take it up with my Psych doctor when I see him next week and see what he says.

Those were just there to sell the business tax cuts. They were meaningless and temporary. I think they are planning a real personal tax cut in September.

Those people pay more than 90% of the taxes. You could always have a tax cut on the lower 50%. Then you would have zero cuts.

Who are you kidding? Fatso could have given average folks a tax cut six times as high if he had kept his promise not to drop the top personal rate.
We can and do send them a check. Besides, poor people pay plenty of other taxes.

No, I'm not kidding. The business tax cut helped businesses be more competitive in the international marketplace. You probably missed the positive jolt it has given to our economy and the incomes of average folks over the past three years. You have to be able see past your own personal interest.

What check? Yes poor people pay other taxes but they are the greatest beneficiaries of the tax code. The people you hate pay the huge majority of the taxes that provide the handouts for poor people. But at least you have the socialist talking points down pat.

Why are you bringing in business tax cuts? We needed to cut corporate rates, but we're talking about personal income tax rate cuts. Trump said as late as Fall 2017 he wouldn't cut rates on the top bracket. He lied.
The business rate cuts haven't done as much as you seem to think because there has been limited new investment. Do you know why? I doubt it.
I'm an economist while you are...? Are you a projecting Trumper?
    How did this happen?

You have a lot of nerve telling me who I "hate" and then lecturing an economist about the economy.
You're way out of your depth on this stuff.

I'm not an economist. I'm a businessman. But I do have a fairly negative opinion of the study of economics because it is based on opinions and battling analyses. I got this opinion by studying economics in college.

I'll take you at your word on being in business, but you don't understand how the economy works.
You should have paid better attention in class.

Since Donald is proposing a whole new set of plans to deal with the massive deficit, it does mean even Donald has no faith that his previous plan is working out.

It's still Donald's plan how much money is going to be spend by departments which are run by him. Congress only is there to approve. Doesn't make it their plan or them spending the money. Sorry.

His plans are designed to further increase economic growth. There is always room for improvement.

I've often said the same thing about economists.

Mid semester I told myself that these people can't make up their minds about anything. It is still true. My view of how economies work is quite different from yours and I prefer mine. It is OK for you to prefer yours. It is hard for me to understand how some people can't see that socialism is autocratic even though the name suggests the opposite. I was raised in a country ruled by a dictator so I have that affecting my views of the world. I find democracy and freedom as very very valuable things. Sorry for being cheeky.

These are just cutting expenses, because his previous idea of tax cuts paying for themselves aint working.

You probably lecture your doctor, too.
    Tell it to a socialist.
Socialism (collective ownership) rears it's ugly head under two circumstances: (1) where a country is conquered, and (2) when conditions in a country are so bad a desperate population abandons free enterprise. Sadly, real socialists tend to take power and then use force to avoid getting tossed out when their policies inevitably fail.

I'm suggesting we keep our eye on the prize--freedom--by making sure we don't make a large segment of the population feel they have nothing to lose by trying socialism.

No doctors pretty much agree on what they do. I ask a lot of questions, though.

I think if i were president, my proposal for a federal budget would be exactly $ 0.00.
Take the entire federal revenue - Social security and pay down the national debt.

increased economic growth will eventually result in deficit reduction. It worked for Reagan. Just ask Clinton.

It's not working now. Hence Donald has a whole new plan. He needs to explain his failure first though.

Sure it is. The trade deals have finally been signed, the Fed is back on track, and round two of economic reforms are planned. The corona virus and quantitative tightening are dragging but those factors will be over soon.

Try and explain to minorities, women, blue collar workers, and the middle class that it isn’t working.
