You're talking absolute dollars because you are totally misinformed. Google the demise of the middle class fact left and the demise of our infrastructure and everything else because the GOP only cares about cutting taxes on the rich and giant corporations who buy them off. Change the channel and think.

Just because it is right in public does not mean it isn't a conspiracy. It's the only conspiracy there is, the greedy idiot mega rich GOP after more money for themselves.... And not their voters.

So is Donald Trump being elected a conspiracy or is all conservativism in general a conspiracy?

How do you know they are propagandized and you are not?

You do know that fox is owned by Rupert Murdoch and the only newspapers that agree with Fox are also owned by Rupert Murdoch? GOP voters live on an imaginary planet. None of your phony scandals for example has ever gotten to a courtroom or anywhere near....

Everybody in the world talks about tax percentages except for the misinformed. You know how blue states are paying for red States, and everyone is paying for the rich GOP scumbags.

On a completely separate and unrelated note with no intent to reference anybody in particular or general group on this forum, did you know that there are studies that relate the ability of people to understand things like sarcasm, irony, jokes, metaphors... to their IQ?

Well, there you have it, folks. This poster places stating that McConnell coordinated with Trump's legal council for the impeachment trial at the same level as claiming that the Earth is flat.

Just in case anybody still wondered what kind of people would vote for somebody like Trump to be President.

And is everyone who votes for conservatives propagandized and somehow magically you're not? Somehow you know the "real truth" just like a flat earther would claim.

Perhaps you could point out in the Mueller Report where Mueller reaches that conclusion.

I've read the report. I won't be holding my breath.

    Ever watched Maddow?

Fox News' opinion shows I don't much care for - I like how Jon Stewart handled it with Bill O'Reilly, almost as if the left and right sat down on national television and talked it out.

That sort of cultural exchange exposes Daily Show viewers to O'Reilly and O'Reilly Show viewers to Jon Stewart.

Broadly, we should want to hear the opinions of those we disagree with. Perhaps more than those we agree with.

"He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them. But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion...

Nor is it enough that he should hear the opinions of adversaries from his own teachers, presented as they state them, and accompanied by what they offer as refutations. He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them...he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form." -
    John Stuart Mill.

There is a big problem with the media right now and it's not Tucker Carlson, Rachel Maddow, Media Matters, Breitbart or anyone else. It's that people have a preference to hear agreeable opinions.

Indeed when you get right down to it even this preference is derivative. It's just more significant since technology has allowed people greater choice in media.

The solution is to reach the olive branch to the other side where reasonable, view discussion with disagreeable people as a beneficial exchange in itself, and trust that most people you meet of all opinions are fellow travellers in your search for truth despite how absurd their views may sound from your perspective.

I am humbled by the fact that I've made huge changes to my political views before. I have held radically left wing views. I have been a staunch anarcho-Capitalist. I am now on the center right. I don't feel as if my values changed, my view of the best way to achieve them changed.

Fact is most people have similar values or at least values which can coexist. We do better by sharing our views on how to realize these values than assuming bad intentions and retreating into echo chambers. This makes conflict inevitable and then we all lose.

The journalist Nate Cohn has criticized the company's methodology as being "unscientific". In 2013 columnist Nate Cohn described PPP as a liberal pollster, although according to statistician Nate Silver, PPP had a tendency to slightly lean Republican as of September 2016. As of February 11th, 2017 Silver's website, FiveThirtyEight, gives PPP a B+ grade in its pollster ranking.

Also...they only compared Fox News to CNN...hardly what I'd call revealing. That's like comparing National Enquirer to the National Examiner magazines.

then you should be able to convince people. Flat earthers have all this stuff that they think is respected behind their claims.

I'm not going to believe you just because you say you have this. That's what every conspiracy theorist says.

Mate Silver often attacks other pollsters. In particular when they don’t share his liberal conclusions.

It was only compared to CNN because NBC didn’t even register.

Indeed. Obviously I am far too intelligent to fall prey to logical fallacies. It is nice that you so readily recognize and acknowledge that reality. Thanks.
