Hopefully this sparks discussion about unfair sentencing and why Trumps prison reform was beneficial.

Exactly who was calling for Blagojevich release? Were any of you guys sitting around thinking this guy deserves to be released early? IMO this was text book political swampiness. You have a democratic governor trying to sell a senate seat for personal benefit. How many of you here were outraged that his sentence was too long when he was first sentenced? Did you post on this forum saying his sentence was too harsh? This seems to be the opposite of the promise to drain the swamp. He just pumped back in a couple of barrels of swamp water.

We’re freeing millions of druggies and blue collar criminals. Why not free the white collar criminals?

Releasing people you like isn’t prison reform lol
And nobody has said that crooked politicians are victims of an unfair criminal justice system. Until trump.

    14 years was harsh.

Now he owes Trump and he's well versed in Illinois politics.

This will also save taxpayer funds.

And there you go... a nifty potential quid pro quo deal for another Trump act. US conservative, you have a very useful brain through which we can interpret Trump.. The Trump campaign could use your talents.

If he’s been in the slammer for 7 years, his usefulness is pretty minimal.

He tried to sell a senate seat! Lmao
Makes sense trump supporters would also look kindly on corruption even by governors. I sure hope his embrace or favors for the politically connected is featured in ads

True. Would have been nice if we just shut down the probe instead of wasting all that money knowing he wasn’t going to allow it to prosecute

I am in the middle on this.

If you lived in Illinois, you would see how corrupt it is. Sometimes, people need to be made an example of.
