Will you vote for the not-Trump candidate no matter who it is? As long as the candidate is against whatever Trump is for, and for whatever Trump is against, will you vote for him?

After all, this election is going to be a referendum on President Trump. President Trump will define himself and his opponent. If Trump is pro-American, the not-Trump candidate will be anti-American. If Trump zigs, the not-Trump candidate will zag. As you see, it really doesn't matter who exactly the not-Trump candidate is. So, whoever that candidate is, will you vote for the not-Trump candidate?

You fail to understand that it's not for 'whoever might be against what trump is for'. It's whoever is against trump 'no matter what he is for'.

But to answer your question: yes. :)

You can tell them a thousand times but they either refuse to or are incapable of understanding.

And yes, no matter who the Dems put up, it will be a far better person than trump. So if it comes down to nothing but that, it doesn't matter what they support.

    trump
If sanders manages to beat the Clinton party I will vote for sanders .

For we have moved too far right into neoliberalism and must move left or most of us will be serfs.

Gotta get one party for working people and that has never been the GOP We need balance back .

If Trump spends 130 million golfing. His opponent may not be a golfer. If Trump claims he is a successful businessman - his opponent may be ten times more successful. If Trump claims to be for the common people - his opponent may be a midwestern woman from Minnesota Farmer Labor Party.

But will I vote for someone just because they aren't Trump? No. I have to agree with a majority of their positions and have to feel they are a fairly
worthwhile human being. I didn't vote for Hillary.

I would vote for somebody who is for what Trump is for, but is not a criminal

But I must admit I have no idea what it is Trump is for. Only thing I know that he's for is his own personal wealth.

That at least makes sense. I mean if your vote is strictly against Trump you could well be almost litterally cutting your own throat and frankly such an attitude is more dangerous to the country at large than Trump could ever be.

As my wife's bumper sticker says.........."Any Functioning Adult...........2020." Obviously, that precludes a vote for Trump.

He's a friggin disaster for this country and anyone who doesn't do everything possible to vote him out is responsible for everything the does that follows...and it WON'T be good

Trump might be able to change our democracy into a dictatorship, change the Republican Party into the Monarchic Party, change the religious beliefs of people who used to believe that sexually assaulting woman was bad, change the Constitution,.... change many things. But one thing he will never be able to change is the English language. Anybody who commits crimes is a criminal. Trump is a criminal!

    You're kidding!

Secure borders, including a physical barrier
    Lower taxes on business
    Fair trade, not free trade
    Defense of the 2nd Amendment
    Constructionist judges
    Strengthening the military
Respect for the flag and the anthem
    Energy independence

    You are for these things?

The Only Not Trump Candidate I would Vote For Is:

    Tulsi Gabbard.
    The Only :peace: Candidate.
The Only Serving in the Armed Forces, Candidate
SILENCED by the Military - Industrial - Government - Media complex

The #1 Promise Trump Broke to @Moi621 is
Failure To Just "LEAVE" , Afghanistan.
As we should have Vietnam '63 or '64 or certainly '65.
In both cases we had no "end point".

Don't Blame Trump or any previous President back to Ike.
Blame an over zealous intelligence - Military community & "advisors".
Including their "Black Ops" coups, attempted coups and such operations.
What President can oppose them with their Congressional Chorus?

    Tusli Could!

You simply do not understand what drives the never Trumper dem or pub at all. You not only have to ask us, you have to assume we know better than you what we think.

No point in starting threads like this if you don't intend to rid yourself of your own predetermined views about us.

You are right that I will vote for virtually any animal with homo sapiens DNA over Trump. You just have no idea why.

They do know why. But if they admit then they have to admit the truth about themselves.

No. I'm one who voted third party in 2016, against both Trump and Clinton. Both major party candidates disgusted me. I wanted my voted officially registered as being against both. I still don't like Trump, I won't vote for him in 2020 either. But that doesn't mean I'm an automatic vote for the democratic candidate. That depends on who the Democrats nominate. Nominate the wrong candidate for me, that means another vote against both major party candidates.

I'm picky in who I vote for. Party means nothing to me, but candidates do. There are at least two democratic candidate I know I wouldn't vote for even against Trump, four I know I would with the last two unknown at this time. So my vote come November will be decided by who the democrats nominate. I won't vote for just anyone.

Unless the dems manage to find a monster like trump, it is far more important to get rid of the monster than to satisfy some abstraction.

Hillary is a crooked politician. Trump is a monster.

Then you haven't been paying. He is literally for making America great. You and he likely disagree entirely about how to accomplish that goal, but that is his goal and he means it and quite literally everything else is subordinate to that goal. That includes globalist shipping jobs overseas the revolting collusion between cheap labor Republicans and establishment Dems to devalue and debase American labor and voters by shipping in an endless supply of increasingly desperate third worlders and the thugs that prey upon them.
