It is the argument presented whenever the discussion of voter identification comes up in an effort to prevent illegal aliens from participating in the voting process in the united states. The public is told such efforts serve to disenfranchise minority voters who do not have proof of citizenship, even if they have more than a year to obtain such proof. The public is essentially told minorities are both too poor to afford the paperwork necessary, and too stupid to figure out how to go about proving they are actually citizens.

Have you been paying attention in politics? Do you not pay attention? Democrats promise everything under the sun to Minorities who historically vote dem.Yet what do dems do for them as compared to others..... very little. Yet they keep vetoing for them, and the cycle repeats over and over. Do you understand it now, do you get it now?

If they have a year+ to obtain proof, and you don't, whos fault is that? As far as too poor goes, if you can show that, the'll give you what you need for free.

Especially if Dems stick a socialist on top of their ticket.

    They know it, too...

I'm not so confident in the senate but I haven't looked at the the specific races and polling to be honest, its super early in the game. I figured the dem's will go hot and heavy after anyone vulnerable with big money, massive money trying to pull off a victory here or there.

Red Dawn is coming. Democrats have done nothing but attack trump supporters and America everyday for the past 3 years. All their coupe attempts failed and now we need make this the biggest Democrat defeat in history.

We need to win trump a second term, increase our hold on the Senate and retake the house.

It's Red Dawn and we need to show the neo-commies America will not be assimilated

Indeed. And this time around, the President won't have to fight the House and the Senate to implement his promises to his voters.

Yes, they are, and here in Virginia, Trump is beating every Dem - including frontrunner Bernie Sanders - except Quid Pro Quo Joe, and Biden's lead is within the margin of error.

The last time a Republican presidential candidate carried Virginia was when George W. Bush got re-elected in 2004.

Virginia shouldn't even be in play, and that's a bad omen for Democrats.

All the Democrats/neo-commies hatred has made being a Republican "cool". Never thought that was possible a few years ago...

Americans in Virginia have a ton at stake. They voted in neo-commies and were inches away from troopers going door to door gun grabbing.

If you live in Virginia, own a gun, and vote for Democrats, you are basically admitting you shouldn't have bought that gun and you welcome troopers coming to your door and grabbing it from you.

With the "winter" we are having in North America this season, everybody in Washington is sweating...

I wouldn't lock up the Senate if I were you... 3 or 4 seats is a lot closer than 21.....

Doug Jones = Gone, for Mr. Magoo

    But......

    Cory Gardner = Gone
    Susan Collins = Gone
    Martha McSally?? Conservative Hack??
    Joni Ernst??
    Thom Tillis??
    2 in Georgia??

I put it at approx 1 in 3 the D's take the Senate (outright), but there will be lot's of sweaty people in 2020..

Dems will be forced to spend resources in a lot of places they used to think were safe for them.

America is rallying behind trump. No amount of money will save the Democrats. Supporting trump is becoming "cool" 8)

Red Dawn is coming. America is pushing back against forced fundamental transformation and it is bad news for Democrats invested in the fundamental transformation of America.

Assuming the Dems Nominate someone other than Sanders or Bloomberg (who would be a disaster in down ballot races), taking the Senate is still feasible.

Obviously, CO, AZ, and ME are an absolute must.

NC seems to look better that IA right now.

    Republicans keep the Supreme Court.

When Trump is re-elected, we’ll probably get at least one more seat on the court.

What’s sad with your statement is that you feel the SCOTUS should represent a political party. This ideology alone is a large percentage of all the issues we experience.

    Party over country.

It is not the Conservatives who sleep and dream of legislating from the bench.

They should represent the Constitution, if you want to identify the GOP with the Constitution, fine.

The outrage is the FBI and DOJ represented a political party in launching the Russia hoax.

From an EC standpoint it was a complete blowout. Sure many of the wins were close but a win is a win. And just imagine if the MSM, and Hollywood wasn’t in the pocket of Hillary? Imagine if there wasn’t wall to wall 90% negative coverage of everything Trump 24/7? CNN is the most popular news station on in any public venue and they lie and misinform
    Constantly.

If we actually had a responsible media complex Trump would have not only blown Hillary away with the EC but the popular vote as well. Hillary was only more popular in just a few counties in CA and NYC.

Not so much a blowout as an upset everyone got wrong. Relying on irrelevant percentages isn't really a good path forward...

    Lets break that down:
“The former secretary of state was leading Trump by about 45 percent to 42 percent in the popular vote,”
The final result was 48.2% (margin of +3.2) for Clinton and 46.1% (margin of -5.9) for trump. The MOE of this particular poll was 4.8; a 1.1 variation, while outside the MOE, definitely does not invalidate every poll from the period. The data was for the most part sound.

and was on track to win 303 votes in the Electoral College to Trump’s 235, clearing the 270 needed for victory, the survey found.
This would have been accurate had less than 0.8% of voters in three states not voted or if less than 0.4% had switched their vote. Pridicting a 0.8% variance is almost impossible outside of the election itself — and is well within the MOE.

You should maybe try reading beyond the headline. Or don’t. Whichever.
