    Romney was not voted as an unofficial Mormon leader. He was voted Senator in the state of Utah. Trump continues to be popular throughout Utah. Lets not turn Romney into something he never wanted to be, and nobody else wanted him to be. This is the guy who leads those Mormon folk these days.

    My understand is that America is considered sacred in Mormon theology, so if Romney is a faithful Mormon, his vote may have been a sincere act of religiosity, rather than the "revenge vote" some Trumpers claim it to have been.
