Bernie is a Moses like figure, Jewish, ancient, never to reach the promised land and about to lead the DNC into the wilderness for 40 years!

Wow, there must be an awful lot of them in the US to make him president? It's attitudes like that which makes people vote for Trump, if the DNC ever wish to win power again they've got to accept that there are no 'deplorables' and that people have a legitimate right to disagree with them.

I just saw where Anderson Cooper was interviewing Sanders and highlighted that in all his time in DC only 7 bills he sponsored became a law, two had to do with renaming a Post Office.

what the heck has he done all these years besides get rich off his office?

    Wrong!

Bernie did NOT "get rich off his office"!

Being an Independent in Congress means that his ROLE was as the DECIDING VOTE rather than the sponsor of bills.

Bernie is estimated to be worth about $2 million which is mostly tied up in his home in VT and his apartment in DC. That is about the norm for properties here in the Northeast.

Political PARTIES create legislation, not Independents.

How did he get the money get to all those properties?

Where does it say parties make legislation and not the individual members of Congress?

Like most people who have jobs he probably took out a mortgage. His wife inherited some money that she used to purchase a vacation house.

WITHOUT a party behind you it is virtually impossible to get any legislation through Congress.

A moderate Independent would work across the aisle to bring two sides together for effective legislation. A far-left, to the left of the left, Independent would get a post office renamed.

His wife to a cut off the top of his campaign donations as his hired media buyer. They usually take a 15% commission.

He made millions writing a book. He defended his new-found capitalist wealth by saying that if you want to make a million, just write a best-selling book like he did.

Did he draft any legislation? DId he try to get the Dems he caucused with join him? I mean he's been in Congress since 1991....

So you are saying all the money he is worth is based on personal real estate property and an inheritance to his wife? Really...that's interesting....so how much has he paid in taxes on these investments? Sounds to me like tax shelters.

What do you mean by . . . perhaps? He did not have to give into Hillary and the DNC back in 2016. He did so for two reasons. But first let's be clear about the deal that he got into with the other two. All he was supposed to have been for them was a political shill. He was selected by Hillary and the DNC to be radical enough to DRIVE leftists uncertain about corrupt-to-the-core Hillary into her arms. I have absolutely no doubt that there is proof to that effect which could have been used against Bernie if political push had come to shove back then.

So Bernie made a deal and it was exclusively for the bucks. But then against the script he got popular and damn near won the nomination because -- well -- because he was going against openly corrupt Hillary. But having been bought from the get go, Bernie agreed to go to the mat for Hillary and the DNC at the end but only after they significantly sweetened the pot. Bam! He gets more money in the bank and probably some sweet deals behind the scene that we still remain unaware of. Bernie was only ever in it for the corruption bucks.

But that was then and this is now and if the DNC want's Bernie to crawl and shaft his own followers for the second and last time then they will have to pony up corrupt Level Clinton or even Obama level bucks and deals . . . like say in the fifty million dollars range. Corruption become pricey at the highest of political levels.

Well, he needs one for work, one to live at most of the time and one to relax. Maybe he needs one to write Russian rape porn in.

Just reading through the posts of the criminal IMPOTUS supporters and it is clear that Bernie is now living rent free in all of their heads. Must be saving him a fortune which explains why he is now a millionaire!

The children love Bernie because they think everything should be free and handed to them on a silver platter. Basically they want government to be both mommy and daddy and keep the status quo of their pampered lives as they "grow up".

There it is again, this asinine idea that "Bernie is for the people" Bernie is for some of the people ---- the takers and the gimme freebies class ---- but in return he'll screw over everyone else and might mortally wound the country in the process. I can only hope enough "makers" with common sense will shoot him down. Although I worry that the "makers" may be dwindling as the appeal of being a lazy "taker" grows.

Grandpa Freeshit's followers need to read my signature quote, and read it again, and read it a hundred times more, until it sinks in.

“You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation.” -Adrian Rogers

    Nothing is "free".

The power to take your money to pay for their sh*t, so they don't have to pay for their sh*t themselves? ;)

I agree. For eight years if you disagreed with the administration (Obama's) you were dismissed as a racist, now if you disagree you're a racist or a redneck or a deplorable. Democrats would do a lot better to actually listen to the criticism instead of dismissing it (with an insult), before the whole circus moves so far left they go right over the cliff.

LOL. But, but, Bernie is an Independent so he was exempt from actually having to do anything! (SMH someone really believes that....)
