    A very good example of how out of touch with reality Democrats really are, does guy really believe gang-bangers are going to back off of protecting their turf and drug dealing areas, so they don't get shot and ICU beads can be used for virus victims?

    Maybe he should also ask them to wear PPE, masks and Tyvek suits while plying their trade of drugs and flesh.

    Baltimore, MD – The mayor of Baltimore asked residents to stop shooting each other and stay home so that hospital beds in the city can be used to treat Coronavirus patients.

    Baltimore Mayor Jack Young made the plea after multiple people were shot on Tuesday night after residents had been advised to stay home and practice social distancing, WJZ reported.

    Seven people were shot in the Madison Park neighborhood on March 17.

    “I want to reiterate how completely unacceptable the level of violence is that we have seen recently,” Young said. “We will not stand for mass shootings and an increase in crime.”

    The mayor said that hospital beds were needed for the spreading coronavirus pandemic and not for senseless violence.

    He urged Baltimore residents to stay home and put down their guns, WJZ reported.

    And yet it is right wingers who insist that guns be more plentiful than citizens in our country, and easier to buy than cigarettes in most states.

    How about if he asked them to not have kids out of wedlock, make the kids go to school and get jobs later on in life so they can avoid prison and welfare.

    Guns are not legally easier to buy than cigarettes. Do you actually know anything at all about gun laws in MD and Baltimore?

    Practically none. It is next to impossible to legally own a gun in Baltimore. We have some of the strictest gun laws in the nation and yet we lead in gun violence.
