    Politics like an unregulated 500 Billion Dollar Slush fund and a six month period where those companies names do not have to be released?

    Remove those two sections and I have no issues with the rest of the bill (kind of irked on the Social Security portion but it is small enough to ignore).

    You can't blame McConnell without equal blame to Pelosi.

    I bet if situation were reversed and the republicans holding it up you would call treason rather than say just give them what they want. Your concern is with your team winning and not with the American people.

    And that is your major sticking point? Not the minimum wage increase? Not the Solar and wind energy rider added? Not the half a billion rider added for the Endowment of the arts or the airlines emissions? This is is the hill you wish to die on?

    If the hold up is really about the corporate side of this bill , why hasn't any of those genius thought to split the bill??? They're all in agreement of direct cash payment to Americans right?

    I am speaking of the bill in the Senate. Were those items included in it?
    If that is in it then I oppose it also.

    That’s another Democratic lie. The hoax Trump referred to was the claim made by Democrats that Trump wasn’t doing anything about the pandemic.

    That's why they voted against the senate bill. They didn't get what they wanted and looking for the house bill which contains what I mentioned.

    I agree, ignorance and outright liars should be addressed and corrected at every opportunity.

    The senator’s who voted against the bill said it was due to those two reasons.
    Do you agree Republicans should simply remove them and then pass the bill as is?

    Or should they hold Americans hostage to secrecy and half a trillion in Republican slush funds with no requirements attached?

    What ever gets people money fastest. I'd say remove the entire corporate portion of it ENTIRELY. pass the bill to get money to the people and to small businesses. No riders!

    Congressman Clyburn said this virus is, “a unique opportunity to remake American society as we would like it”.

    Is this really the time to reorganize the basic structure of American society? Or is it time to just concentrate on getting past this crisis with as few deaths and destroyed lives as possible?

    On one hand their helpless and on the other they can draft their own version in the house.

    A democrat senator can't offer up an amended version with just the direct cash payments?
