Hyper-partisan bellywhinging is to be expected, of course, but this sort of nonsense will not achieve anything.

SCHUMER: ...But actually, to my delight and surprise there has been a great deal of bipartisan cooperation thus far.

BTW, the "slush fund" meme is DOA. :roflol: It's just more leftist bullshit. The left wants to include the green new deal in the legislation because, you know, it'll save lives. :icon_picknose:

Tell it to the Democrat leadership. Still no bill because they are going to keep interjecting extraneous matters and try to attack Trump.

Both, businesses are not going to rehire employees to sit at home and laid off workers still need to eat.

Targeted, secured and conditional loans to businesses; a direct aid to taxpayers in the form of 1-3 months stimulus checks, issue them to all tax payers and then deduct them from high earners at the end of the year if they didn’t need it; and a national pause on utility, rent, and loan payments until the pandemic ends.

They aren't covering themselves with glory here. First the Dems torpedo the stimulus bill because they are afraid it will stimulate the economy, then Biden face-plants during his "shadow briefing" designed to undermine confidence in Trump.

The Dems want to load the package with Green New Deal crap.

That idiot Clyburn wants to take this opportunity to "remake" American society. What an ass.

Which actually sucks for land owners, etc. But as someone who is renting, I'm not gonna lie if they get that in, I won't complain. I need the extra stimulus to actually use to make more money.

Trump doesn't need to control anything. It's the "orange man bad" platform. Trump is to blame for everything bad.

    No doubt.

But I for one wont sink to their level at this point. I'll be glad to latter but not now. I can just control me but I can easily see that this, is beyond political bickering.

    WRONG.

Pelosi will never get what she wants if she doesn't get it now when Mitch is over a barrel.

    She has unprecedented leverage.

    Go Nancy.

    Have a Seat, Mitch:

Both sides do and leave their politcal BS out of it.

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/pe...return-of-obamaphones-climate-change-wishlist

"The bill proposed by Pelosi, D-Calif., additionally seeks to eliminate debt held by the U.S. Postal Service, require same-day voter registration, pay off $10,000 in student debt per person, mandate that airlines reduce their overall carbon emissions by 50 percent by 2050, and force federal agencies to explain to Congress how they are increasing their usage of "minority banks."

Not the issues at hand. Drop them. Fix the issue at hand.

Your sick. Leveraging the economic destruction of so many for political gain. I never agreed with you, now I just don't respect you as a human.

I do not disagree that a private system will outperform a govt one.

I do disagree that we can not recover from this if we act correctly now. Certainly in the next 2 years.

How can you expect there to be if you don't protect the companies now?

"The bill proposed by Pelosi, D-Calif., additionally seeks to eliminate debt held by the U.S. Postal Service, require same-day voter registration, pay off $10,000 in student debt per person, mandate that airlines reduce their overall carbon emissions by 50 percent by 2050, and force federal agencies to explain to Congress how they are increasing their usage of "minority banks."

WTH does any of that have to do with the issues at hand? It's political BS at it's ugliest. Your on the wrong side of this if you want to help working class people.

    100% agree.

But ignore large business, which employees millions and thus supports small business daily is just as suicidal.

We have GOT to kick the Democrats out of control of the House and this idiot woman as the Speaker. She's a laughing stock and cares more about her political power than the country.

And none of that matters to people in need now. I'm not one (Thank God) but I can imagine most do not give a rat's ass about what should have been right now.

The compassion of the left is up for debate right now, will they deliver or be proven to be full of hot air? I hope the former. The execs of Chilies will not miss their rent or not be able to buy food for their families, the servers...very well might.

I've never agreed with the methods of the left trying to help low income people, but I never doubted their desire to do so. I'm starting too.

Yeah all those small business which supply the large businesses. And why do you not care about all the workers in those large companies do you hate them as much as you hate the owners or something?
