    Here's what Pelosi wants

    Diversity Initiatives

Amending FIRREA to Protect Financial Institutions Operated by Women

Oh yea that will fight the spread of the virsus and cure people and put people back to work.

Establishment of a “Minority Bank Deposit Program,” Federal Diversity Reporting Requirements

Oh reporting on how many minorities work in banks will find a vaccine and put people back to work

Diversity Reporting Requirements for Businesses Receiving Federal Aid

Certainly have cash strapped companies having to report minority status throughout their entire companies is going help the economy get going again.

    Restructuring Corporate Boards

Aid Recipients Must Allow Labor to Appoint One-Third of Corporate Board Members

And what does the old let the inmates run the asylum push have to do with anything here? Will labor also have to suffer the losses of a company?

Requiring States to Allow Same-Day Voter Registration

Amending the Help America Vote Act to Require States to Accommodate Same-Day Registrants

VOTING not that's the ticket, THAT'S the cure to COVID and putting people back to work

    Immigration

Prohibiting Institutions of Higher Learning from Disclosing the Immigration Status of Students

And that puts people back to work, hospitals running, supplies created and cures found how?

    Deinstitutionalization

Reauthorization of Money Follows the Person

    Mental illness???? Really?

    Environmental Regulations

Grant Program for “Sustainable Aviation Fuel”

Because if we drink it it will cure the virus or something, or make flying on planes safer therefore getting the airline industry back on it's feet. Don't even try to claim this will just be an added cost at a time when they are all bordering on going out of business.

    Mandatory Carbon Offsets for Airlines

Ahhh because carbon in the atmosphere must cause COVID

It is time to vote these idiots out of office they are far to irresponsible with their partisan politics above everything else mentality and their blatant attempt to blackmail the citizens of this country with their demands.

Your speculation and deflections are adorable, but you're way off topic at this point. Since you didn't address the other things I said, which were relevant to the thread, I'm just going to take the win and let you vamp for the peanut gallery.

How does any of it? It’s about boosting the economy, not curing the virus.

Do I really need to explain to you how handing out checks and extending unemployment benefits boosts the economy?

Handouts(socialism) are TERRIBLE for the economy, and this disaster relief bailout is going to prove that the hard way for a looooong time.

UNEMPLOYMENT CLAIMS SKYROCKET: Fake News pundits suggest that being concerned about the economic toll of widespread shutdowns reflects concern about “protecting corporate profits” instead of worrying about human suffering.

Pelosi doesn't want to let this opportunity "go to waste!"

Just being there for American Workers who followed government orders to idle, is apparently "a waste" to some in DC.

Your the guy who thinks we wouldn’t be worse shape with the Corona Virus if we followed Biden and didn’t restrict travel to China and Italy.

If we didn’t limit travel early we would be in the same shape as Italy.

If you think you won, there is no reasoning with someone who can’t read the writings on the wall.

I'm not a fan of that either, but with that checking millions others that are recently laid off get a check too. Or, do you want to throw the baby out with the bath water, because Orange Man Bad?

I've seen people on FB crying that "people who were not working and on welfare won't get anything". Well they haven't lost any income. This is NOT a stimulus bill but an aid bill to those who WERE WORKING and now are not but we want to get back to work as soon as possibile. Same with retired people on SS. Now you might be able to make the case they are losing money from their investments and may need some aid, don't know if any provisions for that are in the bill but I know the money can't be used to pay dividends which they rely on.

By requiring Schumer to demand them. She can't do it directly.

Arts have NOTHING to do with the COVID-19 Virus or an economic recovery behind it. How do you miss the point so entirely? Damn.

Another poster that just fails to understand the genius of Democrats. What is so hard to understand about this? They use the 100 million to make pretty art pictures that heal corona virus victims through the power of ART.

please just get it man! This isn't rocket science!

Well as long as the Artists don’t paint Pelosi’s face.

    That would make everyone sick.

Performing Arts & Museums are also closing and losing entry fees, they have staff that need to be paid and cannot just shut their doors and walk away.

The arts are being supported worldwide

No, you should throw it out because it's a ****ing disgrace - at any time, much less a time of crisis.

Real musuems are Govt owned and operated, so not an issue. Small private museums are just tourist traps, so not relevant.

Performing arts would have to be at the very bottom of any list of essential industries, in a crisis.

Govt spending is good for the economy. Always has been. Doesn’t really matter how it’s spent.
I’m glad you think checks to welfare moms will cure the virus, but I’m skeptical.

    Good luck with that one.

Trump will be lucky to get over 48% in any of the Big 3 Swing States.

Anyway, as a Patron of the Arts, my only complaint is that is wasn't $200 Million or $300 Million.
