Show me where I have "defended him to the death, literally".
Find it yourself. He said Trump was fear mongering.

Okay, here we are, two weeks later and Dr. Fauci is still around Trump as an advisor. I admit that my prediction was wrong, the voices in the RW to oust Fauci didn't take hold.

It looks like Trump eventually saw the light. I think the turning point was the Sunday press conference 1 1/2 weeks ago, when he admitted that the number of deaths could be in the 100,000s without intervention. People say it was because he was shaken by scenes on TV from a Queens hospital:

Let's hope the Trump keeps up the focus, because, although there is light at the end of the tunnel, we are not through the woods yet. We need antibody tests to open the economy back up.

Is there some reason why we should care about your predictions?

I don't care what you care about. I do care about my own reputation. That means, if I say something wrong, I admit it and correct the mistake. This attitude has served me well in life.

There is almost nothing pelosi and Schiffless wouldn't try to impeach Trump for including jay walking they were going to find something no matter what. And digging into Democratic and deep state corruption was going to damn well get their attention.

If you want to see even more deaths then just let the economy crash. Fauci has no concept that the economic problem is worse than the medical one. I've grown pretty weary of him myself.

    I do.

Not just @Quantum Nerd predictions, but other predictions made on this forum. That tells us who actually knows something and deserves to be listened to, and who doesn't know a damn thing and is basically spouting off. Hat's off to @Quantum Nerd for owning up to his wrong prediction. I try to do that as well, and of course when I get it right, I want credit for that too.

Well, looks like now my initial prediction has been more true than not. Trump is now openly contradicting Fauci:

    https://www.cnn.com/2020/05/14/politics/donald-trump-anthony-fauci-science-coronavirus/index.html

"I was surprised by his answer, actually," Trump said. "It's just -- to me it's not an acceptable answer, especially when it comes to schools."

Fox news hosts like Tucker and Hannity are now also targeting Fauci.

Looks like those developments in the RW sphere also have an incubation period, just like the virus. This one just had a longer incubation period, but is was inevitable.

So while sticking with Fauci longer than expected, the forced love affair is over.
