I made pork adobo today. Thank you Falena. It was good and the guys loved it. My husband said, "We are certainly eating better since the corona." I made black beans and rice, salad and homemade strawberry ice cream.

Get a horn and blow it when you want to go up the stairs to keep others out of the way. Near Mount Rushmore, there are small tunnels that you have to blow your horn before going in and on elevators have a sign posted that only however many people can ride if six feet apart probably no more than two at a time. Who wouldn't want to wait for the elevator if the risk of rushing caused you to get covid19? Just saying.

What would you do if you went to a store and the clerk was sniffing...think covid or allergies?

I went to a drug store looking for unobtainable rubbing alcohol. Someone was stocking or inventoring shelves.

    She was coughing like mad...

Maybe it was allergies. I don't want anyone to get be sick with the stuff. I hope the hot weather kills it and it vanishes never to be heard of again.

Went to the grocery store today and for a second I thought I was in Venezuela.

Fortunately, we've been staying a step in front of the hoarders. I've been cooking a lot of soups and storing them in the freezer...

Quarantine has given me a chance to catch up on my reading. Today I laid down in my bed, propped my head up with some pillows, and was reading "Sea Stories - My Life In Special Operations" by Admiral William McRaven.

After a while, my cat decided I had read enough.

Because yer cat was getting bored reading yer mind. That's what cats
    want their owners to think.

I doubt he reads my mind. This cat cares about eating, a nice lap to get on, and being petted.

When I was around 12 years old I got stung by a bumblebee.
It was in summer and we had rented a cottage in Chaska,a Lake Erie
neighborhood with a fantastic beach and summer homes or what were
called cottages.I got stung outside the cottage in the front yard and
ran inside screaming my head off.My farther ran from the kitchen
as I hurriedly said I got stung. He told me to stand still. He repeated it
    again adding ... there's a bee on yer stomach.I wasn't wearing a T-shirt.
I Immediately panicked and got stung again.I don't know what became
of that fat bumblebee.A Bumblebee can sting more than once.Other
    bees loose their stingers.I had a reaction { swelling of the affected area }
and had to go into town and see the doctor.Who lived in Chaska and his son
was good friends with my older brother.
A few years later I got stung on my index finger by a wasp.
It seemed more painful. It left a scare on the first joint of my index finger
up until last decade.A perfect rectangle of a scare.
Every time I see a Bumblebee I know not to get cute.
I reserve that fir places like this.Or a that.
I must confess ... I was getting cute with that Bumblebee,I was.
    12 year olds usually do.
I wonder if that applies to Dirty Old Men who also like to get cute.

Bee butts are in abundance plenty of those right now. The painter asked me if I wanted him to paint an area outside that wasn’t painted, I told him no the carpenter bees needed a place to hatch. Carpenter bees need open unpainted wood and we need them to help with pollination. they are kind of neat to watch.

The okra is up the squash should be up today and that is a good sign hot weather is coming.
    Yeah, spring!!!

Brilliant! High speed reverse on that. I've been avoiding drug stores and pharmacy departments.

Some local stores are understanding this, and have split their inventories of things like rubbing alcohol and peroxide into two different areas.
