Houston Democrat Mayor Sylvester Turner has a message for criminals

Do criminals watch press conferences. Libs crack me up. Sounds like he's good friends with them. So once everything is back to normal you guys then can have your way with the city. For right now just chill.

Democrat-run cities letting criminals out of prison so they aren't exposed to the virus and telling criminals not to commit crimes....



Actually, I'm surprised that criminals didn't get added to those cities' "essential workers" exceptions to "lock down" orders.

Well at least that solves the mystery as to whether or not we still have a mayor. That's one of the few times we have heard anything from the fellow since Houston's lock-down occurred. Some people you can't get to shut up, like NYC's mayor, and some you have to take a pulse from time to time to see if they are still breathing, like Turner.

Our Republican Governor had to block the Houston Democrat Mayor and every other big city mayor from releasing violent criminals, using coronavirus as an excuse. Every large city in Texas has elected Democrat Mayors. Our Republican governor has to keep them from endangering the public.

I don't feel one bit guilty that my Republican governor is protecting the public from the local Democrat leaders doing stupid stuff.

Politely asking criminals not to commit crime is a Democrat-only "show of leadership". That deserves to take the brunt of many jokes.

What the mayor was saying was that Criminals should take a break because the police have other things to do, and that arresting them would put both them and the police at risk of getting the virus.

But hey, its easier to make it about the black mayor huh

 

Love the cat, but the rest of your interpretation of this mayor's plea to Houston's criminal element is yet another product of your personal bias against anyone on the left.

He's just trying to get Houston's police a break so that they can police the city during this crisis and still be able to stay healthy themselves. All city mayors want fewer people out and about right now.

It isn't just Democrats. All prisons are giving early release to as many convicts as they can. Our prisons are overcrowded and are ripe for rapid passing of this virus. Processing more people out on parole or probation is sensible and necessary.

 

Will you give up your Trump hatred, you're 10 times worse than I will ever be.

 

Then perhaps they can simply be killed by the people they attempt to victimize, thus resulting in significantly less overcrowding once the virus-related panic has subsided.

 

Your Republican governor is a fool. When is he going to issue a shelter-in-place order for the state? The infection numbers and death numbers are rising, and Texas has a huge population that he's putting at risk.

 

Why do you agree with releasing criminals and then pacify them? What's next give criminals the key to the city and open the bank vaults?

 

Democrats are globalist who feel above nation states and their laws. They respect no borders. They also control much of America's government.

My state is making plans to separate Covid inmates from the rest of the criminals. The governor stopped the Democrat-led cities from setting hard-core criminals free.

If they're letting people go who are sitting there because they had half a joint in their ashtray, I have no problem with that. But letting robbers, burglars, car thieves and worse out on the streets is blatantly stupid and it also will not stop the overall spread of the virus.
