Why doesn't socialism work?

False flags and covert action against socialists is the GOP thing. It's almost time they figured out that socialism isn't communism. It wasn't in Chile or Iran or Argentina or Nicaragua or El Salvador or Bolivia etc etc. Always a catastrophe too.

 

Dude I know exactly what's being going on and I didn't need Rush or Hannity or anyone else to explain it to me. I knew the gist of it when I was in high school and worked out most of the rest while I was a freshman in college put the finish touches on while I was sending up weather balloons for the US army and then when I finished my degree in education. It isn't rocket science dude it's just finding the data and putting it together in a way that makes sense and hangs together logically. Most of what I e read since then has merely confirmed what I already knew. I've read Marx, unbelivebly dense prose mainly used to camouflage the fact that he was a selfish, egotistical old bastard of the sort that my dad would have said, "If you could buy him for what he's worth and sell him for what he thinks he's worth you'd be a wealthy man. To his already mention other unlovely, you can add jealous and nasty.

I've also read Mein Kampf. The only difference of note between Hitler and Marks is the Hitler was more obvious in his lust for power and less willing to use big words to camouflage what a nasty power hungry jack ass he was. Makes one wonder how truly desperate many of the German people were to line up squarely behind such a psycho.

the only people that don't want socialism (Fair capitalism) are brainwashed English-speaking conservatives. of course the United States is the only rich country that doesn't already have everything that Bernie and aoc want. You don't even know what socialism is. Communism is the absence of government, only happens after we've all evolved beyond the need to have government's to tell us what to do. Socialism is what feels the gap until we so evolve. The world has never seen real communism because human have not and will never evolve to that point. What we do have is two types of socialism, that as practiced in the former Soviet Union and the heirs of Mao or that as practiced in great Britain between roughly 1950 and the election of Margaret Thatcher. The difference is that in the latter case the people in charge are compelled to pay some attention to the wishes of those over whom they rule or they will cease to rule note because human being are not omnipotent, omniscient, or omnipresent they generally make such a hash of it that two decades is a very long time for a truly socialist party to hang on to power in a democracy.

Again what we have opted for in the west with a few exceptions more nearly resembles Mussolini's Italy than it does anything else. This is the model followed by American Democrats and almost all of Europe's socalled labor parties since WWII. In this version the facade of private property is maintained but exactly how one can make use of one's private property is increasingly constrained by an increasingly complicated set of rules and regulations that are enforce in an ever more arbitrary fashion such that no one really knows what the hell is going on and is seldom sure exactly what is allowable and what isn't. Dude I spent seven months in. Germany. Walmarts business plan can't work in Germany because the average middle class German hasn't the storage space for a weeks worth of anything. The average German takes the Bus or rides bike to work and has not more than a few blocks to go. The average American between the mountains has minimum if a 15 Mike round trip and often much longer the average American paid pre Carona about three bucks a gallon for gas in Germany it's closer to ten the difference is almost entirely taxes. The average German home has fewer square feet than the average middle class American's master bedroom.
