No- he's talking to idiots, at least to a good portion of the press core who has that mindset. They do indeed see every press conference as a "gotcha" game. They aren't they aren't there to learn, to collect news, they are there to find a niche in the armor to attack the president- just as you are doing here. It's pitiful, shameful, and without question- anti American.
Nobody is perfect or flawless or never mis-speaks. Trump has the most intense and demanding job in the world, and right now it's on the scale and intensity of wartime.
He's also right in the aspect of thinking positive. We don't need more drivel from the haters depressing people, distracting their attention from the real problem to some inconsistency in the ventilator count being the pivotal issue.

One would have to be an idiot (or MSM reporter) to not know that the information about the situation is changing minute to minute, and even the best of data is incomplete or inaccurate, thus we must do the best we can given the situation, and know that tomorrow will change it again. Of course there is no reliable news reporting anymore, no moral standard of truth, so nothing they say can be considered reliable without verification. Best thing the administration could do is pull the press cards of those nincompoops who come to disrupt and abuse- I can tell you the public has had a belly full of them.

I'd be willing to bet that 99.99% of his critics couldn't handle the position for a day- let alone get anything right or done in that day. The fact the discontented can't come up with someone less moronic than Biden or Sanders tells us just how true that is. They would replace a proven winner with a toad and tell themselves it was a good thing? Yes, they would; and that is a sort of litmus test of their capacity. They are that far out of touch with reality, that much dominated by their own self-hate. How many times in a row do the haters have to fall on their faces in their own dirt before they learn? We don't know of course, because so far they haven't got a clue that they are the ones making themselves look stupid.

Trump is doing an exceptional job- and there isn't a lefty in the country who could do anywhere near as well. I support winners and results, not heroes.
He does have his flaws; one of them in tolerating idiots in the press.

The Democrats, over a month later, as the pandemic was relatively greater, were trying to weaken the president's ability to make travel bans. And speaking of the fact that House Democrats were trying to limit the executive's ability to close all ports of entry, I love how you skirted around and never addressed that salient fact. The fact that you cannot attack that point, which I have cited, head on proves that your intentions are not pure; they're based on partisan politics. And do you know why they did it? Because they are legislating under the simple logic of "orange man bad." Thus by living under the philosophy of do the opposite of whatever Trump does, they endangered possible scores of thousands of American lives for pure political, ideological hatred.

You Obama lovers loved the eloquence of Obama reading from a teleprompter, which displayed words that were not his own.) In my philosophy, and I have said this before, actions speak louder than words. Trump imposed the travel ban against China in late January. This measure was in opposition to the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee, Joe Biden, who called the action xenophobic; House Democrats; and the WHO.

Second, as for him calling the responses to the virus a new Democrat hoax, that's a euphemistic way of saying that he called the politicization of the virus a Democrat hoax, and there are grounds for that. Contrary to the implicit argument that Trump makes these statements in vacuo, Trump makes these statements in the context of a political world of exaggeration, mischaracterization, and mendacity on the part of Democrats and their wholly owned subsidiary, the press, including, but not limited to, the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, and more. Look at the millions of taxpayer dollars that were thrown at the multi-year phony investigation of Russian collusion, which was a factor in Democrats winning the House back (talk about election interference!). Look at how the Democrats, because they won the House, had the power to, and exercised, their ability to impeach a president over nothing. That statement is in opposition of fact, since the China travel ban went into effect on January 31st, as has been mentioned multiple times already.

 

Trump, in fact, did not take it seriously enough until the end of February.

He so embarrasses himself with his partisan embellishments in the news conferences.

 

He didn't do anything much at all.
He didn't even take it serious until 3/29/20.
So there are no actions of his, but denial.

It will be a miracle, Aprils warm weather and the virus will disappear.
