I dont have a "side of the fence". This idea that their are sides is ridiculous. Just admit that Trump sllowed travel from China while the virus was spreading there ,thus, increasing its effect in the united states

 

There's no way to know that.. The Chiners have open travel with Italy so logically Italy was seriously infected too. Your just not being honest with yourself.. COVID has a 14 day incubation time (some shorter some longer" and no one really knows HOW long people where leaving there infected.. Some sources believe that Chiner was infect in October, do you recall any indication of outbreak prior to December? The point is you're pissed off at Trump while coddling the liars in China.. You got blame, focus it on where the virus came from and when it was first detected... Then be logical and understand "IT WAS ALREADY EVERYWHERE" in December

 

Talking to Democrats, a lot of them see the ability to pin the blame on Trump for the COVID 19 as really their only chance of winning the election. So, it's kind of the last hope for that side. I think it's going to be tough to do that, but I expect to see that strategy put into effect aggressively until the election.

 

Those US citizens traveling back to the US were free to travel back to China afterwards. That is the whole point. There was no ban on flights to and from China. Trump lied

 

I see you use the word Pandemic! So why is it you have a problem understanding what it means! It was already fueled to be a pandemic in December.. The seeds of infection were already in every country including the U.S..

 

Allowing US citizens to return. Much of the country is expected to self isolate, why would they be different? Beijing and Shanghai are nowhere near Wuhan...

Those US citizens were free to go back to China after they returned to US. It's irrelevant whether they would be different. The point is that there was no travel ban on flying to and from China

 

You folks are nitpicking. Trump did ban travel from Wuhan. The world doesn't stop over a virus and seeing the apparent ignorance over basic geography saying anything other than China would've caused confusion...

 

He didn't ban travel to and from China for US citizens who visited Wuhan either. US citizens could still go to Wuhan and fly back to the US but would be put in quarantine. So again, there was no ban on flight travel to and from China including those who visited Wuhan

The less that have it in the beginning, the more you can control it overall. If the math equation starts with 10, that means the total will be less than an equation that starts with 100.

 

An advisory is not a ban and I've been through this point loads of times. This advisory has been in placed for months and since then thousands of people have travelled between the us and China

He banned non-citizens and put severe restrictions on American citizens. He allowed them to come home but only at specific airports set up to handle them. After the Level 4: do not travel advisory went into place the major airlines ended their services to China.
