Reference? It's my understanding that the China TRAVELERS were asked to self quarantine. That's not good enough during a pandemic.

 

But they are US citizens who have been allowed to travel between China and the USA as many times as they want in the period after 31st Jan and how can US citizens be China's problem?

 

Only those who say they visited Wuhan were quarantined. Nothing to stop them lying and say that they didn't visit Wuhan and in this case would be trusted to self isolate themselves in their own homes with no check ups

 

I never said there was. The major airlines stopped their flights when the Level 4 was implemented. Travel from a huge segment of people was banned.

 

Travel was banned. That means a travel ban was implemented. Don't mangle the English language to try to make some partisan point.

Saying Chinese nationals were banned from traveling to the US is a correct statement.
Saying travel was banned from the China to US is misleading in the best case and flat out lying in the worst.

 

Not all travel was banned but travel was certainly banned from China. Those that were allowed to return were required to travel to specific airports set up to handle them.

No... he's literally saying that only Chinese people were banned, inspite of the fact that travel was also banned from European hotspots, and insinuating that race has something to do with it.

 

The only reported cases in China at the time were in Wuhan. Americans returning from Wuhan were asked to self isolate upon return. In the beginning this was handled in the least intrusive manner. Most folks don't recall because the only thing Democrats and their pet media were talking about was impeachment.

There were zero cases reported in Beijing or Shanghai. In those early days there was a hope this would be contained in Wuhan. Now we are getting revisionist history because Democrats completely ignored the early stages...

 

So what action did trump take ? The repubs claim it was some kind of ban on the Chinese from traveling to America so less spread would occur given this virus came from china and spread to the rest of the world.

But the dems say he didnt ban Chinese nationals yet at the same time make his non ban take on as usual a racist motive. Lol

So what did the non ban do ? Nothing?

I listen to what one sside says and then the oother and all I see is the BS piling up deeper and deeper.
